  • Home teams were 8-2 in playoffs

And guess who was the team to throw the monkey wrench again?

Who was the Fly in the ointment ????

Thats right!! The New York Giants were the only team to win an away game in the Playoffs. In fact they did it twice!! Making the Packers and Niners the only teams to lose at home in the Playoffs. Isn't it ironic that they were the #1 & #2 seeds. Lol
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

    # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
    2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
    3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
    4-New York Giants!!!
    5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Crazy.. I made a few threads about home teams 6-0 and then 7-1. But never saw one about 8-2 and I am on here every day for hours. Lol....

Sorry... But it is a good stat

Says a LOT about this team, and they won on the road in Dallas and GB (1 & 2 seeds) in '07, too.

The TC Giants have underwhelmed at times over the past 8 years, but there are consistently one of those teams that can seriously rock anyone's world at any give time -- especially when they're focused.

Love that we get to put on our Road Warrior capes and masks again as the "road" team in the SB, just like SB 42.

exactly! the outcome will be the same but i predict the only change will be the Giants win by a larger margin than they did in 07!
