  • bitter Patriot fan

I almost got into a fight with the dude who works in the post office in my town. He always gives me crap about the Giants. He says to me, "you going to shove this in my face all week?"- referring to my Giants jacket to which I reply, hey buddy, i am a fan just like you , freedom of speech, it's a free country. He was so pissed. He said to me with an attitude, yeah you go with that.
    Go Giants!!!
To win this game we have got to stop Tom Brady right away in the 1st quarter and shut him down!

I can see why he'd get annoyed the week after we win, but why now? Makes no sense. Unless he's already giving up.

its like I was saying. The Pats fans in Boston I've come in contact are either major homers who think they're going to get "revenge"

or they're fairly knowlegable and know they're gonna get beat.
My 5 year old son right before the kickoff of the Super Bowl 46: Dad, are the Giants gonna win?

      Burier: Yes.

      Burier: Yes. I promise.

Lets not get ****y . According to the oddmakers its pretty much a 50/50 shot on who wins . I like it better when they give us less of a chance....

This game may come down to the last drive ... I pray we blow them out .... My hear can only take so much ...

Don't listen to the odds makers? If we listened to the odds makers, the Giants would have lost to Packers and 49ers. I remember seeing Packers being favored by 8.5 points.

Sounds like these Pats fans are anticipating a loss lol
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                4-New York Giants!!!
                5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Wow. It's amazing to hear Patriot fans being nervous. It's like hearing a 49ers fan in the '80s being nervous -- just no need for it. I think the Giants win this game, but the Pat fans should feel just as confident especially considering their history over the past 10 years.

It's crazy how nuts some fans of all stripes get when it comes to sports. Crazy, I tell ya.

                    Re: bitter Patriot fan

sorry for being brutally honest but...this is a totally uninteresting story. not to mention it has some glaring holes in it. freedom of speech for wearing a jacket? is that a poor choice of words or did you say something to intentionally get under the guys skin? anyway, you were probably being annoying which is why the guy got pissed at you. duh.

why would you consider fighting someone at work over a football game that didn't even happen yet? that is the real question.

Hopefully, you'll be able to hand-deliver a "Get Well Soon" card to him next Monday - while wearing a NYG SB cap. That would be the neighborly thing to do.

Image if a worker at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts yelled at a customer for wearing a jacket they didn't like they'd get fired.

I don't know about that if I had to bet I take the Giants but a close game, but if we won it wouldn't be like when we beat StL where I was shocked.

I don't like our CBs vs your WRs, plus the NFC is better than the AFC his year. If we had played the Saints (a horrible match up for) I think we would lose by 3 Tds.

The people I don't get are people who think it won't be a close game. The last two came down to last second drives.
