  • The wait for the SB is changing my mind and making me scared

as the days go on, im actually kinda scared
now... people keep saying "belichick wont make the same mistake of
scoring so early and giving eli time to go back out" but who knows if
the game will even be that close? i think it could be though. as long as
our passrush plays their hearts out and our offense moves the ball like
they can (and watch out for the spy LBs and safeties belichick will
have out there) we COULD win this game very soundly, but i dont have a
good feeling that if we do win, itll be soundly

Re: The wait for the SB is changing my mind and making me scared

Ya know, I have contemplated that exact thing, But for just this one game Im gonna let it ride and feel confident. All season long watching games through my fingers has gotten to me and I am now gonna rebel with that little guy on my shoulder that says "stay level headed". I am ALL IN and I want the world to know that OUR Giants are gonna win this Sunday. Say it LOUD and PROUD to everyone you know every chance you get for the next 2 days. Im a Honeybadger and i dont give a ****!!

Aikman said on Francessa that he likes us to win. I think this is a big deal. He's no giants homer and has in the past, with buck, showed a bit of skin concerning their love for the pats during broadcasts.

        Hope this helps...

The time is actually making me think we are going to win easily, maybe a blow out. Clearly I am losing my mind.

                All In
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

                # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
                2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
                3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
                4-New York Giants!!!
                5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

Re: The wait for the SB is changing my mind and making me scared

the only reason i've heard so far from anyone who is picking the patriots has really just been, "because it's tom brady!", and/ or "it's bill bellicheck"....as if you can actually win a football game based on mystique.

and on the other hand, reasons i hear for the giants to win the game...

                  - offense
                  - defense
                  - special teams

...that's really what it boils down to. on paper, at this moment in time, the giants win just about every matchup in this game. and most of them aren't even debatable.

that said, games aren't played on paper. but if you're looking for confidence going into a super bowl, i don't think you could really ask for a better matchup in a championship game if you're the new york giants. it's up to them to go out and get it done now. ALL IN.

no one's getting easily beat in this game.

it'll be close no matter what.
