        From Seawrights wiki page:

        New York Giants Edit
Seawright made the 53 man roster in 2006 for the New York Giants and played in nine games,[1] but in 2007 the Giants, with many talented defensive lineman, made the decision to cut him.[2] Jonas Seawright became a fan favorite on the Giants.com message board. While most fans never expected him to make a major impact in the trenches, 'The Legend of Jonas Seawright'thread is one of fond memories for Giants.com message boarders for its witty bon mots, many done in the 'Chuck Norris...' motif.

            LMAO
Myron Guyton from tiny Eastern Kentucky and Greg Jackson from LSU solidified a Giants Defense as Rookies, maybe Starters, and came out of nowhere in the Draft to prove their worth. Parcells believed in them and they played and played well as Rookies helping the G-men to the SB in '90.....

He's a mobile quarterback with a big arm, he's perfect for the McAdoo offense. He should be starting instead of Eli.

That argument sure went down in flames

I'm actually interested to see how he does as a starter, he never got a chance with us because of Eli. He had a pretty good college career in Syracuse!

If he was going to start somewhere, he'd already be signed.
Only 50/50 he finds a back up job somewhere imo.
No one remembers who came in second.

With Smith ready to sign, it certainly makes sense that Nassib is not coming back, period.

I wish him well and hope he catches on somewhere.

If he gets playing time I believe he can be a good QB.

what has Geno Smith shown to make him so much more valuable to the Giants than Nassib, thats the part I don't understand....

It's not that Geno is anything special. It's that Nassib, from what we have seen of him over the past few years in both practice and preseason games, does not appear to belong in the NFL as even a number three guy. He cannot make routine simple throws.
