    SI EXPERTS MAKE PREDICTIONS

    "Super
    Bowl XLVI Crystal Ball

Why the Giants will win: The only
thing I know is it'll be a two-minute-warning kind of game. One team's going to
have a chance to win this one late. It comes down to the Giants' terrific pass
rush, and whether Matt Light can hold up for 60 snaps against the dangerous Osi
Umenyiora. I say Umenyiora makes a few decisive plays.
The Super Bowl MVP will be... Osi
    Umenyiora

    Why the Patriots will win:
Quarterbacks and head coaches usually do more to determine the outcome
of Super Bowls than anyone else, and my gut tells me Tom Brady's and Bill
Belichick's motivation level is sky high this week. Something to do with that
little upset in the desert at the hands of these same Giants four years ago.
Close, back-and-forth game will be decided by a late Patriots field goal, the
way New England always wins its Super Bowls.
The Super Bowl MVP will be... Tom
    Brady

    national anthem:

Why the Patriots will win: On
paper this looks like a matchup the Giants can, and maybe even should, win. But
my pick basically boils down to Tom Brady. I think he will lean on what he
learned in the first Giants-Pats matchup this season and exploit his advantages,
with or without a healthy Rob Gronkowski.
The Super Bowl MVP will be...
    Aaron Hernandez

Why the Patriots will win: Tough
game to call, but I think Belichick and Brady will finally solve the Giants'
riddle. I like how Vince Wilfork is dominating for four quarters. I picked the
Pats to win the Super Bowl before the season. No time to abandon them now.
The Super Bowl MVP will be... Tom

Why the Patriots will win: The
Giants present a bad matchup for the Patriots, while Tom Coughlin is 4-1
all-time vs. Bill Belichick. But the Giants have also been glorified into the
1985 Bears over the past two weeks instead of a 9-7 team that gave up 400 points
this year. Cold, Hard Football Facts, meanwhile, has eight stats that each
predict winners in more than 60 percent of NFL games. New England was better in
all eight this year. The Patriots avoid the four turnovers they suffered in the
midseason meeting and eke out another three-point Super Bowl win.
The Super Bowl MVP will be... Rob
    Gronkowski
In honor of Dr. Z, predicted length of
    national anthem:

    28 27
Why the Patriots will win: The
Patriots have less pressure on them than in their last trip to the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady won't have two bad weeks in a row. Bill Belichick will masterfully
find a way to cover up the deficiencies in the secondary.
The Super Bowl MVP will be... Tom
    Brady
In honor of Dr. Z, predicted length of
    national anthem:

I like 5 out of 6 picking pats
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

          # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
          2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
          3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
          4-New York Giants!!!
          5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

This, combined with Cris Carter talking up the Patriots as getting their revenge against the Giants, makes me feel better. If Collinsworth picks the Giants, I'd panic...

Collinsworth picked the Giants to win the SB after they beat the Packers.

What do you guys expect from a New England based company?

All's they see is Brady and Belichick as NFL royalty.

              Ringing in the 2012 season!

I'm glad they picked against us.

However when people pick the Pats they say things like I just can't pick against Brady or Belicheck will find a to stop the Giants. It's more based on their belief on what should happen as opposed to looking at the tape and basing it off that.

                          Re: SI EXPERTS MAKE PREDICTIONS

Should make those people who are complaining that "everyone" is picking the Giants happy. The consensus for those picking the Pats is either Brady and Belichick out for revenge or that their greatness will shine thru again. Facts everyone are missing is Pats haven't won a ring in 7 years, Brady is 6-5 in his last 11 playoff games and the Pats played the softest schedule in the NFL.
