  • Were Built to Win But be Wary...

This team's strengths are the Patriots weaknesses. Our pass rush built to limit their prolific passing offense. The Pats made it to the SB by defeating 2 teams that relied heavily on the run. So by stopping the run they had won half the battle. We haven't run well all year. In fact our passing game sets up our run. We match up well against their defense. We have three WRs that are a threat to score form anywhere on the field.

The Brady factor: Brady usually doesn't have back to back bad games and the last game agains the Ravens was bad. The more worrisome factor is that Denver prided itself on it's defense. In fact their passing defense was among the best in the league (top 10 I think). They got torched.

Prediction: We win and we win big as long as we don't turn over the ball. This is our year. This game is going to be a blowout. We will score and score often. Big blue baby! Listen to the war drums. It's time to punk the Pattys. NO MERCY!!!
Because of all of the effort and examination being poured into these predictions, the draft is a robust market that, in the aggregate, does a good job of sorting prospects from top to bottom.1 Yet despite so many people trying to “beat the market,” no single actor can do it consistently. Abnormal returns are likely due to luck, not skill. But that hasn’t stopped NFL executives from behaving with the confidence of traders.
