    4. this is most inaccurate of the four inaccurate statements above, congratulations on saving the best for last

Because offensive playmaker = bigger need than offensive lineman

Again.. IF Eli has people in his face mere seconds after getting the snap he will not have time to look down field at his options. SO having a big play WR may not matter if they do not get him some more help. Yea they won 11 Games last year but that was due mostly to the way the D played. They held teams to below the low 19+ppg avg to win those games. I just do not see how having a Big Play Guy like Marshall will help unless he gets more time to throw. So many times he only had time to look at his first option or he was throwing the ball into the ground to avoid sacks and not even seeing the wide open WRs all alone that would of gone for TDs.
Football has been very, very good to us.
After losing seasons 2013-15, the giants put up 11 wins in 16.. they are on way Back
But for now we can console ourselves with this fact-

      # of Super Bowl victories since 1985:

1-Chicago, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Seattle
      2-Washington, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
      3-San Francisco, Dallas, Denver
      4-New York Giants!!!
      5-NE
Let's make it 5 in 2016 so we can be on a LINE NE again!!!

What does this mean? They will target DBs in the draft and reshape their entire secondary outside of Byron Jones.

Guess what? Those rookie DBs will get thrown into the fire Week 1....vs Odell Beckham, Brandon Marshall, and Sterling Shepard. Welcome to the NFL.

        Advantage, Giants.
This I will agree with you on. Better to get them in week one while they are still trying to get their footing. Also replacing two guys on the Oline as well.

          1. John Jerry is the RG. Eli won't have people "in his face" based on that alone. In 2016, John Jerry would set the perfect pocket for Eli, but no WR would be open to throw to. Why? Because no big WR or TE.

          2. Marshall excels on slants and crossing routes, as well as inside the red zone. Get the ball in Marshall's hands and he'll create YAC. It's not about running downfield all the time.

Lets see what Prescot and company do in his sophomore season
They are replacing two guys on the O Line but one of them will be L. Collins who will step in and be as good or better then who he replaced. SO I do not think they will have terrible 2nd seasons like many ( RG3 ) others have due to that O Line still being very solid. They are the reason for much of the success of those two rookies last year and will be the reason that they have good years again in 2017

Lets hope that you are right. I for one do not think so. But there is still a lot of off season left to shore up the line through more FA, Draft and UDFA signings plus they can look over the late Cuts of teams that may be overloaded at the position and pick up a diamond in the rough so to speak

Again, in this offense, the pocket is set up the middle for the QB.

The G - C - G are the most important pass-blockers in this scheme. NOT the tackles.

The oline was THE worst part of the team last season......plain and simple.

And because of one of those OT (Flowers) Eli was always worried all year about his Blindside and it effected his play all year weather he was protected or not.

                        Actually the G - C - G graded outstanding in pass-pro.

No, it was a massive need that had to be addressed. The Giants HAD to acquire a big dynamic receiver.

Lol, yeah, the tackle protecting Eli's blind side is less important than every other position on the O line.

The foundation of McAdoo's passing offense is the firm inside pocket.
