Same story told for the 37th time. Not chirping at you TCS, just at the media who are too lazy to look for something new to write about.

I'll track down the links just from these boards.

    Here is the first

    Here is another

    http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2...rt_river_index

    And another

    http://giantswire.usatoday.com/2017/...all-offseason/

    And another

My gripe is NOT about Flowers, we get it, he's in better shape and is moving nicely.

It is about a lazy press that doesn't spend enough time looking for new and interesting things to write about.

Yes that is true, but we are not getting paid to entertain and inform fans who are seeking some insight into the team. If I were an editor I would be all over my writers butts to find something new and informative and interesting.

Perhaps we should be getting paid then. we are way more interesting than a ton of the stories we see coming out in the dull days of the off season.

          2 cents!

I keep reading about Flowers the 1st round Bust, the Failure at LT and I just cannot understand how some of the "Realists/Hater" can be so ready to dump a third year player who is only 23, has proven how tough he is by playing through injuries without ever making excuses and who goes out there every game doing everything he can to get the team a win and earn his paycheck.
Flowers is a mountain of a man who plays with a nasty streak. He goes out there every week with the goal of not being noticed and oddly enough, if he can get through the season and you never hear his name, there's a pretty good chance that he might end up being a Pro Bowler.
If you have seen pictures of his New and Improved body type, hear about how much quicker he seems to be and take into consideration that he, Pugh and Hart took boxing lessons over the off season trying to improve their power and hand speed, I'm thinking that this kid just might be ready to prove that he was not a mistake at #9 and that he truly belongs.
Also, having Ellison off his left side to help with some of the speed rushers can't do anything but help.
Finally for the true doubters: Think back on, or look up how an all timer like Amani Toomer's career in Blue worked out. His first couple of years were real IFFY. Coming into camp his third year people were calling him a wasted pick and come time for cuts, Amani was On The Bubble!
It's June. Relax, have some fun and think good thoughts. They're young, deep, talented and well coached. Trophy #5 just might be on it's way!

The "bust" articles are few and far between compared to the "new Flowers emerges in the off-season" articles.

Regardless, both camps need to relax until we tee it up with live action in the regular season.

We'll know soon enough where this OL and team are headed.

                  Good post.

Not a lot of patience on these boards. And you don't have to go as far back as Toomer to prove your point. There were people on these boards that had Landon Collins pegged for LB because he would never make it as a safety.

                  Unreal.

The media sucks nowadays. For the most part, all they do is throw **** on a wall and hope that it sticks. Fans play their usual roles by either overreacting, taking a hot take as gospel, and/or making that insane opinion their own.
