  • 2 rings in 5 seasons .... not 4 seasons

    i've heard and read it too many times today that the Giants have their second ring in 4 seasons.
    its 5 seasons

    feb. '08 = 1 ring
    feb. '09 = no ring
    feb. '10 = no ring
    feb. '11 = no ring
    feb. '12 = 1 ring

    thanx for playing and here's a copy of the home game.
    due to the fact that I am from the Woodstock generation ...

        Could've been 3 rings in 5 years, if it wasn't for Burress.

          From 2010-2011 is three years

            Im not sure how they do math in your country,

            But if 08 is your starting point....

            08 = 0
            09 = 1
            10 = 2
            11 = 3
            12 = 4

                  Exactly....got one for the 2007 season, then another one four seasons later....2011 season.

                  2011-2007 = 4

                          End of this debate if you use whole seasons its 2 in 5 seasons 07-08 and 11-12. 07-08,08-09, 09-10,10-11,11-12. If you look at it from the standpoint from when the superbowls were played then its 4 years. Feb 3 2008-Feb 5 2012, 4 years and 2 days.

                            We have our first ring in 4 years and our second ring in 5 years. If the pattern holds up, we'll win again in 2016 for our third ring in 9 years. I'm hoping that we increase the pace, however. I'd love to do it in 2013 for our third ring in 6 years. Is it okay to be greedy?

                              So you're counting by including the starting number. It doesnt work that way.
