  • ESPN to Gronk "Hows the ankle?!?!"

ESPN is running the Gronks dancing and hopping around like a madman story and talking about how NE fans feel about this.

BB is known to cut ties with classless players regardless of status, its buy into the team or peace.

We've seen this repeatedly from BB. Even tho Gronk is amazing at TE, he already had that incident with the porn star, and now this? And this isn't like the porn star story and really nothing, this is serious bc he had zero impact on the SB game really because of his supposed "injury".

How do you think this plays out?

for the record, I'd rather have a guy with heart like Ballard who would give it his all to try and get back out there, and literally have to collapse from agony to stop him, while you got a guy like Gronk who is so physically talented, boo hooing an ankle injury that seemingly was about as serious as a paper cut...

What? You really think he was faking his injury? Did you see when it happened? It looked like he broke his leg. He was clearly not the same player because of it.

By the way, yesterday on ESPN they said it was a team party and not really a big deal.

its odd. i don't know what to think although I do KNOW he wasn't nearly as injured as let on. Gronks himself said he was about 100% and wouldn't need surgery leading up to the game.

did YOU see the videos of him dancing? not just the one clip, but their are several clips and the one ESPN showed was of him being all agile and putting a ton of weight onto his ankle. Like he was full out jumping around on it, cutting on it, and ESPN was saying he looked like he didn't even have an injury...

doesn't matter much what I think as NE fans are livid right now, and rightfully so. If the situation was with a giants player and he was able to do what Gronk was doing AFTER THE LOSS, I'd want the player gone.

Gronkowski also stated after the game that his ineffectiveness had nothing to do with the ankle injury.

What do you expect him to say? He's trying not to be a crybaby and make excuses . . . .

If you think that: (1) he was 100% in that game and/or (2) that Belicheck would even consider cutting him, you are delusional . . . . .

i GUARANTEE YOU BB has a heart to heart with Gronk.

if you know ANYTHING about his coaching style, he HATES this.

BB was probably dying a thousand deaths Sunday night, and to see pics of guys partying on stage would send him over the edge.

I'll be interested to see how its handled, if we hear anything at all.

NE fans who are uspet about players blowing off steam after the game are idiots. Its not like he was hopping around on it before the game.

Narcissistic morons who would only feel better if the players were weeping until next season.

no Coach will tolerate partying, but the season was over so what can you say. Guess they'd still have a couple meetings then close up shop but it'd be hard to voice being pissed I think
I don't think you'd be happy as a Coach knowing one of your stars is a drunk...you know you've lost at least 3 years from them getting lazy and self centered

I could be wrong but I thought I heard them say on ESPN yesterday that it was a team party and the owner was there or threw the party. Something along those lines. If true he is in no trouble at all.

Yes the party was set up by the Kraft family. I have talked to a few people who were at the party within the organization and no one was upset with Gronk in the slightest. In fact they all thought it was insane how much attention this was getting.

BB was flamed in 2008 for just running off the field without shaking hands, and i flamed him too, but he didn't do that because he's an *******, he did that because every single cell in his body HATES HATES HATES losing, and he had nothing left in him, including enough sense to be a good sportsman, to go and congratulate the winners.

I think he wants a team that hates losing as much as he does. Who wouldn't?

So you can't tell the guy not to party after the season is over, but you can call into question exactly how badly he wants to win relative to how important he is to the team's success.

I would, and i wouldn't feel bad doing it either. There's nothing wrong with going out and partying after you lost a championship if you want to be an average player.

But if you want to be what Gronk appears he could be, HOFer and backbone of the teams receiving corps, he needs to show more competitive fire than that.
