You should be more worried about your own house me thinks.  The Shockey issue is very volitile and now Plax is threatening to hold out to get a new contract........

Your obviously optimistic about your chances and so am I.  I at least leave a reason why my team could falter instead of blindly saying my team is going to win the division.  You guys are going to have a bullseye on your back the size of the lombardi trophy.  You are going to get the best shot from everyone you play, and we have a tough draw this season with the AFC north.  I think I was generous with my prediction all facts considered.  You just keep on yelling, and BTW dont think I will forget.  Cause I wont, just ask plax25 if I forget.

yes we shall.  I know Dallas is good but I truly feel we have gotten stronger where they have not gotten weaker as much as added more question marks.  that will be bad considering you had a few question marks already....The Giants didn't add to their problems...they helped them by adding depth at receiver (Manningham), Secondary (phillips), and linebacker....Strahans departure doesn't hurt as much knowing we got Kiwi, Tuck, and Osi not to mention Alford and Fred Robbins....Your big pick up was PacMan Jones....he hasn't played ina  year...we got the edge

 

Your saying manningham isnt a question mark?  Come on man....  The guy is a player but #1 he's a knuckle head and #2 he's a moron.  Bad behavior minus the intelligence to reason enough to hire an agent and not to lie to perspective employers equals HUGE question mark.  What was his wonderlick score again?  Like a 6?

You will miss Michael Strahan more than you think.  He is the type of player who can take a team on his shoulders and carry them.  Losing him I equate to the cowboys losing Michael Irvin.  It was all downhill after that.

I like your draft dont get me wrong, but to discount Stranhans contributions is foolish.  Your team will miss him and find out that its difficult to repeat isnt a cliche..

We will miss him but I am not too worried after seeing what Tuck and Kiwi are capable of I am sure we will be pretty dangerous still.  Not to mention Osi looks pretty comfortable taking over the leadership role....time will tell that.  As for Manningham...he is a nice addition to an already strong squad....if anyone thinks Plax will miss a second this year that is fine because I love to see disappointment on opposing fans faces.  Not to mention Toomer and Smith are back...Toomer is Toomer and Smith could have the makings of a star....It is pretty exciting for Giants fans right now...because we see what we have...we know it is a good thing.  We will not go downhill as you say.  we aren't going to run away with anything either.  The NFC is getting better and in no way are we head and shoulder above anyone else but we are pretty tough....I mean take a look at Spagnola.  He could have had his pick of any head coaching vacancy in the league...he chose to stay....he knows what he has....deep down so do you

He knows it....The problem with all of Cowboy Nation is they refuse to believe there is any problems witht his team....I mean Tank is a bust (face it)....Pacman hasn't compted in a year...he will be rusty at best (if he isn't already finished).  the rest of the CB system is questionable...not to mention Roy Williams is washed up.  yes we lost Strahan...its true.  we love him and we already miss him....We still have Osi, Tuck, Kiwi, Pierce, Alford, Robbins, Ross, Webster, and don't forget the Sammy Knight pick up....the guy can still play trust me....Oh and with all the hoopla surrounding the Phillips pick up in the draft we are forgetting about a guy named Michael Johnson back there.  Johnson showed flashes of absolute brilliance in his rookie season.....So we have two pretty good free safetys and a beast at strong!  I am pretty happy.

As for the cowgirl offense....Yeah they got T.O.  The guy is a freak.  Romo is good but we all know about the problems he has when the game is on the line.  Not to mention that Barber is not a proven every down back and outside of T.O. who is catching passes at WR.....Witten is just good though....period....can't argue that.  Their Special teams is a mess as well.....

Now the Giants have the same running backs they had last year....same Wrs plus a stud in the draft.  Shockey and Boss (nuff said).  A cohesive and young offensive line and a quarterback who is money when the game is on the line....I will take that over a guy that puts up numbers but can't close it out....that is a no brainer....Like you said though, We will see.  A new season is a fresh start for everyone...not just us.  We could get blind sided by the Skins for all we know....Anything can happen.  Freak Injuries or a 6th rd pick who surprises everyone and becomes a game breaker....On paper as of right now i give the edge to the Giants over the Cowboys....only because Dallas' defense is questionable....We lost Strahan but I am pretty confident in ours
