seriously, the power of the referee must be reduced. im sick of hearing " THAT FUMBLE FOR A TOUCHDOWN DOESNT COUNT BECAUSE I BLEW MY WIDDLE WISTLE!"

anything should be reviewable. thats why they give you 2 or 3 challenges

    oh my god 11-3! 11-3!!!!

Guys keep saying the game is rigged.

    Do you honestly believe that?

Like, seriously think the NFL is fixed?

I think the NFL makes a ton of money from the Dallas Cowboys because they are so poular. Just like last year they made a ton off of the Patriots team.

Last year I saw the Patriots getting tons of favoable calls from refs, or no calls on blatent penalties. Way to often, and one sided to be coincidence.

I think it is in the NFLs best interest if the Cowboys do well, because it will keep the raitings (cash flow) through the roof.

The Cowboys were certainly kept in this game today by numerous blown, and no calls by the refs.

So yes the NFL is rigged, or no its not?

I'm not saying that there's no chance that that some ref somewhere isn't on the take.  But the evidence i needed that the NFL ISN'T rigged for teams like the Pats and Giants came in the Superbowl last year.

If it was rigged, for teams like the Pats and Cowboys there would have been no way we won that game.

there would have been no way we get past the Cowboys either.

This argument just doesn't hold water.

And, while not directed at massmag, if you're pretty certain that the NFL is rigged, how much of a chump are you fans who continue to watch (translation: spend money on) a league with a pre-determined outcome?

I will not watch another NFL game again!!!!   Why watch a game that is FIXED!!  This was the most blatant BS I have EVER seen in my life.  The NFL officials have always favored the Cowboys, but this is the most ridiculous BS I have ever seen!!!

If you were serious, i could at least respect that opinion.

If i thought that the NFL was actually the old WWF, i wouldn't spend a dime on following it either.

i can't understand why you would, unless you're still a fan of the wrestling....

WOW......you took the words out of my mouth.....

I have seen some bad called games but this is by far the worst.......how the helll do they call that fumble in the end zone a forward pass......he had pulled the ball down because he was going to get nailed......it would be one thing if the call was made live, BUT they made the call from a review.....HOW??????

    Unreal!!!!

That is the one play that sticks in the back of my mind.  How is it that Romo, instead of throwing a forward pass and is about to tuck it in for the sack, ball get knocked out in the end zone, Cardinals recover in the end zone and it is NOT a touchdown????  They REVIEWED IT!!!!!
The Cowboys week in and week out for years have been favored.

of course its not rigged, and of course the refs don't favor the boys and hate on the giants, SB and 4-0 confirm that.

Yeah that was a garbage game as far as the refs went. Alot of bad calls...And that bs tuck rule really needs to be changed. He pumped then pulled it back and fumbled it, I don't understand how thats not a fumble.

There's been so many bad calls all over the league this year. Get it together refs!

Imagine how po'd you get when you have money on the game?

Bottom line is the refs need to be held accountable for blatant bad calls. Not just an, "Oops, yep that was a bad call now that I've seen it after the game." They should get an alotted amount of bad calls, then a few fines, then fired. Really, they have free reign to do whatever they want, as long as they apologize later it's OK. An outside source that has nothing to do with the NFL could decide what refs are repeat offenders, then have a final say in who gets fined or fired.

you could have gotten pop warner officials to do a better job...the fumble by Romo in the endzone was a slap in the face for football fans..no matter what team you cheer for...............stay blue

First off, I will always be BLUE!!!

I am just completely losing faith in the NFL.  This is the same crap that has pledged other leagues like the NBA when the Tim Donaghy scandal broke.

This game was WAY more than a few blown calls.  They were did everything they could to give Dallas the game short of helping Dallas with the blocking and tackling.  The fact that Arizona still one, should not be the end to this.  If the Refs are going to be that blatant to try to force the outcome, we might as well be cheering for a wrestler on the WWF.  The NFL games have about as much weight!

i think you are going way overboard.  refs make mistakes its human and sometimes they don't and fans just don't care for the rules.

I watched that entire game again to see if it was my anti-Dallas bias that made me see things that were not there.  The calls in the first and fourth quarters were nothing more than ridiculous.  These Refs are "professionals"  and can make mistakes.  But this game was in a league of its own.

Even Francessa said the refs were horrible in the cowgirl game. He said they keep getting worse and they need to do something about it.
