Yep, it really doesn't matter that the Giants have NEVER WON a Super Bowl without it ... right? We are so full of ourselves (being fans of the Super Bowl champs) so why should we even bother to represent our team. After all, we don't need no stinking billboard and what goes with it! And so it shows -

Yes all those votes count until playoff time. They will not put up a billboard for a team that is not in contention. Last season, I thought we won the billboard because a couple of other teams with leads in votes never made the playoffs.

In other words, if the Rams and Vikings have bad years, we become the #1 team even though they have more votes.

You're right about no billboard for a team that's not in contention for the Super Bowl. However, check out the "Program Information" page.


It states - "All votes count regardless if your team makes it to the playoffs or not. Should the team with the most votes at the conclusion of the regular season not make it to the playoffs their votes will still need to be beaten by the playoff teams in order to win."


What I understand this to mean is that if the Vikings or the Rams do not make it to the playoffs, we still have to beat them in order to win back our billboard. Since us Giants fans are so full of ourselves these days, I think we're in deep do-do my friend...

I could have sworn that the Giants didn't have the most votes last year until some other teams were eliminated from the playoffs.
