    Cayman_Cowboy:
    Cowboys 12-4
    Giants 11-5
    'Skins 8-8
    Eagles 7-9

Why? Cowboys are stacked at every position, with quality depth at most positions. Giants have elite talent at key positions and are grooming future stars. The 'Skins perpetual mix of talented youth and over-the-hill FA's assures that they will be 8-8 for the next 20 years. The Eagles are re-building - they just don't know it yet.

Why not? The Cowboys have yet to prove they can beat a division rival when it matters. The Giants have lost key personnel and have that big target painted on the back of their jerseys. The Skins and Eagles didn't do enough in the off-season to make them better (this year).

Players to watch? Eli gets it. He's figured out how to win in this league and he's not likely to regress next season. Pacman gets it. Not only is he one lap dance away from a permanent ban, but he's also playing on a scrubs salary. If he's truly determined to redeem himself, he'll play like the #6 O.A. draft pick that he was and re-negotiate his contract in '09. Westbrook gets it. Tic-tock, tic-tock.

    not a bad post however

    giants12-4

    dallas 11-5

    skins 9-7

    eagles 8-8

    westbrook cant carry them again

Ya know, I think I could live with that. The ultimate road warriors with a likely first round bye, followed by a home playoff game? Bwahahahahahaha!

We all know the cowboys are talented INDIVIDUALS, the Giants are a very talented TEAM. The cowboys keep bringing in new stars every year and i think its hard for a team thats switching head coaches and systems every year. The Giants play well together... all of the offense is back and we have some new pieces on defense but our Defensive Cooridnater showed he can get it done with new pieces. The Cowboys haven't gotten it done in the playoffs and for me its hard to put them on top until they get there.

Plax won't miss a minute.....McNabb on the other hand is made of porcelin...He'll be hurt by week 5....this is just business....If anyone thinks Plax would miss actual game time or even preseason they haven't been paying attention to how much everyone like playing here right now.  Sure we lost Wilson, who chased the money, but we also kept 3 running backs that could have been starters anywhere else after last year.  We held onto a defensive coordinator who could have left for any head coaching vacancy.  Not to mention JR drafted exactly what we needed and made a couple of real good FA signings (Sammy Knight is going to be a perfect compliment)...The Eagles have no receivers and an aging defense....They will require a remarkable season barring all logic to win big this year....This year will be the end of Dawkins....I saw a practice the other day and he looks hobbled

-Three runningbacks who could be starters anywhere else? Is that a joke? Brandon Jacobs is your best guy and he's midle of the pack by NFL standards. Oh, but of course if Ahmad Bradshaw was a Charger this year, he'd TOTALLY take Tomlinson's spot.

-McNabb has always played more than half of a season before he gets hurt, so your he will get hurt prophecy very well may come true, but there is no solid basis or reasoning behind it yet.

-Saying the Eagles defense is aging is just dumb. I won't even bother to respond to this. They only have ONE starter above age 30 Mr. Knowitall. And that post 30 year old is Brian Dawkins. By the way what "practice" did you see? The OTA's? FYI any clips you see from Eagles OTA's are half-speed warm ups, because they do not allow video cameras after the first ten minutes of practice.

-Sammy Knight is a "perfect compliment", now that's just funny. You're telling me Dawkins is near his end, and Sammy Knight is a "perfect compliment" please don't be offended when I HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA in your face for that one.

-Spagunolo could have gone anywhere he wanted? That's funny because Dan Snyder never offered him a contract. Spags obviously at least had some degree of interest in coaching the Redskins, otherwise he wouldn't have gone all the way there, and Snyder never even offered a contract. The way an interview works is you talk about the job and then the contract is offered if the employer likes what he hears. No contract was offered. Are you telling me Spags flew all the way down there to sit in an office and say "thanks but I'm not interested" which could have been handled in a phone call? Perhaps Snyder saw that he wasn't ready to be a head coach after all. Regardless, Snyder never even picked up the pen, he just sent him packing.

-Yeah our WR's aren't great, but they're good, and an 1100 yard year from Curtis last year is far from "no recievers"

Yeah the Eagles suck what's your point? That you have one player, Westbrook, who is your whole team and you can't do *** when he doesn't play? Got it.
Classic answer. To be honest I'm just bumping this thread until i get an answer from the dude who's lying about seeing practice. How'd you make it on the sidelines bud?

Those were just my opinions....I am not a child so i won't haahaahaa in your face but need I remind you who the more decorated franchise is???  All I am saying is that on paper the Giants stand a much better shot then the Eags do this year...now that is on paper....I remember last year "on paper" predictions had the GMen finishing dead last so I know that anything can happen.

As for me saying that our running backs could be starters anywhere else....I didn't mean for teams that obviously had starters but maybe the Bills or the Broncos could use a guy like Bradshaw or Ward....did you ever think of that.  Either one of them could have left town like Gibril Wilson did but they CHOSE to stay.

As for me saying that Sammy Knight is a perfect compliment all I emant was he is going to show our younger guys how its done.  He won't be the best in the league but he will be a perfect compliment in the sense that his veteren leadership and know-how will reel in the phenomenal young talent we have at safety....

Now as for Dawkins....the end is near my friend.  He is the best of our generation but there comes a time when his skills will decline and from what I ahve seen of him it looks as though this may be the year.  Either way it doesn't matter because it is not like the Eagles did anything that is going to make them a much different team.  You still have NO receivers...those other guys are not game breakers like Plax or T.O..  Your defense is slow...no linebackers or pass rush and if you think that Asante is going to be your savior just go ahead and watch the game tape.  He was with a great defense last year and Eli torched him twice last year....the guy was a product of Belichick's system.  he will not have same success in Andy Reid's boring defensive schemes.

The Giants are far from perfect but we are far better then your crappy team.  McNabb is ALREADY crying about his shoulder!  You said he plays half a season like you are satisfied if he even plays that long!  Why not try playing every single snap for four years like Eli or take every snap since 2001 like Brady!  The dude is overrated and becomming washed up with no jewelry on his fingers....typical career in Philly...he will be forgotten soon enough

So with all that said and seeign what happened last year I ask you what have the Eagles done on offense to get any better.  Westbrook is still all by himself...McNabb is already puffing about his arm....no receivers....an offense line weak on both corners....LJ Smith (nuff said)

Oh and why don't you read up on your team.  I don't need to be present at Eagles mini camps to tell you that Dawkins is getting older.  We burnt him last year with our young talented wide outs....what do you think is going to happen this year.  We only got better at that position....He is in serious trouble of being exposed this year.  Come talk to me when Philly is even competitive again.  the football facts are that you only have so long with a team....this Eagles team had its shot and its over now.  They choked in every pressure situation during their 4 year run and came away with just ONE SB appearance.  Don't you wish you had Eli at the helm...you may have had a dynasty....and he definitely wouldn't have puked on the field during the SB....clutch is the name of the game. You can have a guy that can take you their but if he is too scared to do the job then get rid of him.  How many chances does McNabb get???  How many injuries must the franchise and fans dealw ith before you get a new QB?  What kind of franchise sees what McNabb did with a great receiver like T.O. and doesn't try to at least draft a wide out that they can mold?  I will tell you what kind of franchise....one that has nothing to show the world except a whole lot of close calls.  Your team needs to win ONE SUPER BOWL before you even become relavent in the eyes of a Giant fan.....As a matter of a fact why am I even wasting my time on you.....Bring a Cowgirl fan in here....at least they have some HISTORY to stand on....Eagles are pathetic just like their classless fans, who all envy New York deep down.  Nothing but a bunch of wannabes....

Oh and the practice I saw that day was just a report on Comcast where they showed a few shots.  Sorry if I misled you but the shots they showed had Dawkins doubled over in pain and getting burnt by a rookie wide reciever.  Then they inteviewed him as he had big ice packs on his knees.....I said he looked hobbled and I never lie....or fool myself into believing the Eagles are anything but the underbelly of a far more decorated division.  I wish they WOULD win so they would stop embarrassing the other very well respected franchises....We should kick them out like we did to Arizonia....Maybe make the Steelers an NFC EAST team????  The Eagles belong in the AFC East with the Jets and Dolphins...they know what it feels like to be looking up at the Patriots....unfortunately for you guys the Giants don't.....ohhhh that HAS to hurt.

BTW:  Thanks for waiting for me bud.  I hope this dude has given you enough to chew on for a while.....Lets GO GIANTS!!!!!!  3 time...thats right I said 3 time SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bradshaw and Ward would not be starters for the Bills. Marshawn Lynch's hit and run, if he actually was responsible, is not going to keep him from playing. I'm not saying those two are bad, and a team might have given them a chance to compete in camp, but nobody is going to hand either of them a starting job yet. And you did say "anywhere else" last year, so I was just making sure you didn't really mean "anywhere else"

You "allegedly" saw him hurting after practice and bending over and in pain on Comcast. 2/3 of the EMB watches Comcast SportsNight and SportsRise religiously, and I doubt news like that made it past the 140,000 people on our board without having anyone mention it. I'm not calling you a liar, well, I kind of am, but I'm just saying I have a hard time believing it. Regardless, when you hype up Sammy Knight and bring down Brian Dawkins in the very same post, you're going to get some HAHAHAHA responses.

Our defense is slow? First they are old now they are slow? Explain how they are slow? Anyway, I'm not expecting Asante to shut anyone down, but a few interceptions would be nice, because the Eagles were great in every defensive category last year except for turnovers. Enter Asante Samuel, turnover machine.

This last comment at the end of your paragraph took the cake "Andy Reid's boring defensive schemes" hey dumbass did it ever occur to you that the defense that the Giants run is almost identical to what the Eagles do?? Your defensive coordinator used to be our LB coach. Now it makes sense to me why you think our defense is old and slow, and that's because you don't know anything about our defense. Everyone in the league knows the Eagles run an aggressive blitz scheme (yeah, "boring").

I'm not satisfied with him getting hurt all the time, but I was just making a response to you thinking that he WILL get hurt before week 5 or 8 or whatever week you said.

And your other paragraphs that you wrote, I skimmed through them, maybe I'll respond later because I have to go right now, I don't know they seemed like a bunch of gibberish and talking about how the Eagles don't have a ring yadda yadda.

Explain how we play the Eagles twice a year and win only one game. Playing the Eagles is an easy win.

i have to respectfully disagree there, the eagles can suck one week and be great the next they seem to always get that suprise win in the div. i get scared every time we play no matter what kind of season they are haveing and they might have a good team this year

Yea I know but how biased was that dudes record. I live near Philly. My dad is also a Giants fan but he always says that the Eagles lose to the worst but beat the best. But 16-0. They will drop week one to the rams and I won't be surprised.

You talk a lot of CRAP...your s/n fits you well.  Now go ahead...tell me how my b/f is going to smack me around and land me in the hospital.  Seems that's the only comeback you guys have.  You're a disgrace to Philly.

This is about the most sensible post I've seen on here. I think the Giant fans who do not think Shockey and Plax are distractions are forgetting their history. After each of our first two Super Bowl victories off-field distractions played key roles in horrible post SB seasons. Not saying it will happen now because I think Shockey will be either gone or outcast to a point of irrelevance and Plax will come around. Just saying it is short-sighted to forget our own past. Personally, I think we have a better team chemistry this time around and will have a great year.

LOL, we are talking about the NFL right? Not your pee-wee football league for 10 year olds?

"To be the best, you have to beat the best!"

We will miss you #92, you are one of the best.

The OTA's? FYI any clips you see from Eagles OTA's are half-speed warm ups, because they do not allow video cameras after the first ten m
