Explain how we play the Eagles twice a year and win only one game. Playing the Eagles is an easy win.

 

i have to respectfully disagree there,the eagles can suck one week and be great the next they seem to always get that suprise win in the div. i get scared every time we play no matter what kind of season they are haveing and they might have a good team this year

Yea I know but how biased was that dudes record. I live near Philly. My dad is also a Giants fan but he always says that the Eagles lose to the worst but beat the best. But 16-0. They will drop week one to the rams and I won't be surprised.

You talk a lot of CRAP...your s/n fits you well.  Now go ahead...tell me how my b/f is going to smack me around and land me in the hospital.  Seems that's the only comeback you guys have.  You're a disgrace to Philly. 

Now I think you pretty much have it beat into your head that... well you get beat in the head. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hows this for a comeback. You guys finished last in the division, we won the Superbowl,, your recievers suck and you have no replacement for Tra at LT. Do you know what a LT is? All you probably know is Westbrook, Dawkins and McNabb.

Like I said in the other thread.  Eagles fans will always talk about those three as a success because to them they are a success.  Winning those title games and getting into the SB was the best thing that ever happened to that team and their fans.  Their mistake is they are trying to come into a New York Giant chat room fresh on the heels of a Giant championship and srgue that those guys deserve to be mentioned int he same breath.  Like I said their measure of success is based on 4 "almost years".  We base ours on rings....that is why we are relavent when we open our mouths and they are just full of you know what.

I think he is like 16....you can tell most of the eagles fans are young....maybe not though have you ever tried to hold an intelligent conversation based on sports with any Eagle fan....they all sound like they are 11!    I don't talk to Cowgirl fans the same way I talk to Eagle fans....in my mind even the girls have more intelligent fans then Phillys.  You need flash cards to get through to them.

No way Dallas loses more than 5 games, apart from major inury.  I think you might repeat your 10-6 record this year,  but I also think that Philly could easily take second this year.  Its going to be a great season, I cant wait.

Left Tackle.  Was that really necessary?  Yes I know football...but I don't proclaim to be the next great analyst.  I just enjoy every aspect of the game.  I watch and DVR every game, I follow the draft, listen to WIP (which is really a lot of garbage) and watch the NFL channel more than any other station.  Stuart Bradley and Jon Runyan are beasts (Bradley is hot too but that's a different discussion).  I don't want Sean Considine back...hopefully Quintin Michael gets to own the starter role.  JR Reed showed hellish potential and I love Sav Rocca...he started the season with a cheap shot and ended the season with a nice hit of his own!  I could go on if you'd like.  I may not know all their stats, but I know my team and my players...not just the poster boys like Westbrook, Dawk and McNabb.

Plax won't miss a minute.....McNabb on the other hand is made of porcelin...He'll be hurt by week 5....this is just business....If anyone thinks Plax would miss actual game time or even preseason they haven't been paying attention to how much everyone like playing here right now.  Sure we lost Wilson, who chased the money, but we also kept 3 running backs that could have been starters anywhere else after last year.  We held onto a defensive coordinator who could have left for any head coaching vacancy.  Not to mention JR drafted exactly what we needed and made a couple of real good FA signings (Sammy Knight is going to be a perfect compliment)...The Eagles have no receivers and an aging defense....They will require a remarkable season barring all logic to win big this year....This year will be the end of Dawkins....I saw a practice the other day and he looks hobbled

-Three runningbacks who could be starters anywhere else? Is that a joke? Brandon Jacobs is your best guy and he's midle of the pack by NFL standards. Oh, but of course if Ahmad Bradshaw was a Charger this year, he'd TOTALLY take Tomlinson's spot.

-McNabb has always played more than half of a season before he gets hurt, so your he will get hurt prophecy very well may come true, but there is no solid basis or reasoning behind it yet.

-Saying the Eagles defense is aging is just dumb. I won't even bother to respond to this. They only have ONE starter above age 30 Mr. Knowitall. And that post 30 year old is Brian Dawkins. By the way what "practice" did you see? The OTA's? FYI any clips you see from Eagles OTA's are half-speed warm ups, because they do not allow video cameras after the first ten minutes of practice.

-Sammy Knight is a "perfect compliment", now that's just funny. You're telling me Dawkins is near his end, and Sammy Knight is a "perfect compliment" please don't be offended when I HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA in your face for that one.

-Spagunolo could have gone anywhere he wanted? That's funny because Dan Snyder never offered him a contract. Spags obviously at least had some degree of interest in coaching the Redskins, otherwise he wouldn't have gone all the way there, and Snyder never even offered a contract. The way an interview works is you talk about the job and then the contract is offered if the employer likes what he hears. No contract was offered. Are you telling me Spags flew all the way down there to sit in an office and say "thanks but I'm not interested" which could have been handled in a phone call? Perhaps Snyder saw that he wasn't ready to be a head coach after all. Regardless, Snyder never even picked up the pen, he just sent him packing.

-Yeah our WR's aren't great, but they're good, and an 1100 yard year from Curtis last year is far from "no recievers"

nice honest assessment!  I got the Eagles winning less and not only because I hate the ever living ground they taint as they stride upon it but because i think the defense is going to be a bit weaker and Westbrook can't carry the team by himself....
