AP to face obstruction of justice charges

According to ESPN's Sal Pal...his "SOURCE" states that NYCPD is drafting up obstruction charges and that AP will not just "walk away" from this situation.  That would FREAKIN SUCK

Is Bloomberg a Jets fan.  It sure seems like he wants to make this thing bigger than O. J.'s murder case.  GO BIG BLUE

Not so sure, the team set a precedent with Plaxico's suspension.

Did you even read his post? He put the "source" in quotes because it is not official.

Thats not what he said............you're misleading everyone. He said AP is not out of the woods according to his source. He never said they're drafting up obstrction charges

Re: AP to face obstruction of justice charges

Is that what Ray Lewis was charged with 9 years ago?  He tried to cover up a stabbing by lying about it police first before fully cooperating?  And...didn't he go on to be a Superbowl MVP after that?

I don't know how AP can be charged with that.  I haven't heard any confirmed stories about him giving conflicting accounts of what happened that night.

I also heard the league would not do anything because the Giants did it for them. Nice to see they are taking care of issues. They are no nonsense, team first and I love that about them. I just really hope AP keeps his nose clean. He said he is fine where he is at. Those were his words. You would think the cops would just give him a break considering everything that has happened and the cops have the gun.

Re: AP to face obstruction of justice charges

It seems like the police have nothing better to do. Just because they are celebreties they are making it a lot more serious than it should be. It was a terrible situation but it's not like AP helped cause the shooting. And can you blame him for taking the gun I mean what was he going to do just leave it there or just go to the police saying he has some gun. He told the location anyways so why do they care so much about what ever he did? They got info on what happened from him anyways.

I hope they throw the book at him, he is the main problem.

Re: AP to face obstruction of justice charges

Blackburn get ready! Also time to pull AP back from the media as spokesman for the D. Tuck deserves more face time but Kiwi, Sammy, Coffield and Danny are the best D spokesman in that order. This will be punishment enough for AP. The Plax episode is also a lesson for AP... a true friend will tell you the truth with tenderness. He colluded in Plax'x delusionary whale **** about himself.

Assuming Pierce and Bradshaw are represented by criminal attorney's I seriously doubt the obstruction of justice remarks.
