You know what, I'm damn glad the Giants chose to use PSL's. My points are as follows:
- They are reasonably priced. If you can't afford to pay a one time fee of $1000 for $100 seats, than you should use your money on other things anyway. And that's the least amount anyone has to pay. If you can afford $700 seats, than you should be able to afford a one time fee of $20,000.
- If you can't afford $20,000, than the Giants are letting you choose a new lower cost seat. Seems fair to me!
- It will get rid of all the old people that don't cheer in our stadium. You guys might kill me on this one, but the last few years of games I've been to, all the old people get *** when you stand and cheer for your team. It's no wonder we play better on the road. We probably have the worst home field advantage in the league. Remember how loud the stadium was when we had our 9'th home game the year of Catrina agaianst the Saints? That's because they weren't season ticket holders. Anyone could buy tickets to that game. We need more youth in the stadium!
- Selling PSL's is better than having the state have to pay a portion of the cost by using tax money. Let the people that enjoy the stadium pay for some of the cost. Again, it's only a one time cost!

After giveing current season ticket holders the opportunity to buy PSLs, any remaining PSLs wil be sold to people on the waiting list.

And that's why it's good. Cause now people will go to the games that will enjoy it more and stand up a cheer for the team instead of complaining about people getting up to cheer, go to the bathroom, etc....

POINT IN ALL OF THIS IS WERE PAYING A LOT OF MONey for a stadium that isnt going to be half as nice as the COWBOYS stadium built by jerry jones! GO LOOK AT THE COWBOYS NEW STADIUM AND TELL ME WHICH ONE LOOKS NICER>...UNREAL!
Go be a cowboys fan then. *** the Cowboys! Did you see how much their PSL's are? It's like 5 x the price of ours.
And our stadium looks pretty damn good to me. What do you want a lazy boy to sit in at the game?

1. keep your hand out of other people's pockets. Don't tell people what and how they should spend their money 2. Some people have been buying seats faithfully, through thick and thin... good and bad for 50+ years to get those good seats 3. Old people, as much as they may bother are getting killed so some corporate ***hole can sit in the seat and do the same thing. I would rather have the Giants fan then some suit. 4. The Yankees are building a Billion dollar stadium by themselves. The Giants AND the Jets cannot combine to do the same?

1. I'm not telling them how to spend their money. Don't uy the PSL then. Simple choice.
2. That's good, than they should have no rpoblem supporting the new stadium. If not, than I'm more than happy having younger more enthused fans in that that may actually cheer. Agian, it's not a right to have season tickets, it's a privilidge.
3. I agree, but the corporate *** will be there with or w/out PSL's.
4. The Yankees are getting help from teh state of NY. The state is putting hundreds of millions of $ to re-do the parking and transportation. And the Yankees can def afford to do it themselves!

Corporates will buy up chunks of seats that fans cannot afford. 100,000 to them is easy NOT for the guy trying to live / retire in New York / New Jersey 2. They had the right to their seats before it was TAKEN away. Young people buying 40K worth of seats (for 2)? yeah riiiiight.... not if he is a working man. 1. They should not have to buy PSL period.

4. I did my research. The state is putting millions into parking and transportation. Prove otherwise....
3. As I said, corporate will be there with or without PSL's.
2. I should have said younger. I'd rather have 40 years there (who can afford it) than 80 year olds (that *** all day and never cheer).
1. Wow, great argument. Would you rather them bump taxes so the state has to pay for it?

I think what alot of people dont understand is that the PSLs are an investment. Twenty years later when you sell them, they are almost guaranteeded to be worth considerably more than $1000. They arent like tickets.
