hahahaha... if all goes according to schedule. I'm 71 and I'm sitting at work, 4 days a week.
On the shows, as you know, it's all about getting good writers, otherwise it pfizzles out fast....

  • Honestly, it was the ONLY reason my son and I went to the game... to see who is still fighting like a professional, with pride....

I was at the game and saw the same thing from his rookie year... his man runs past him about 1 or 2 steps before you see LC turn and take off after him... always 3 yards behind his man.
I will say that he isn't blessed with the best LB corp in front of him, and I think his mind tells him to cheat...

  • I was there and it seemed to me that the pass blocking was a tad better, too. Eli had more than 1.5 seconds and actually had time to throw a couple of deep passes. He overthrew them, and Shep made a very weak effort to reach up or jump up for the one that was thrown over him... but, the point is, there...

Seems to me that both of those bland peoples are still interesting to millions of people and are both multi millionaires... Celine is a worth 380 mil and Kenny G is worth 50 mil. I wish I was that bland....

I was at the game with my son... surprised that there seemed to be about 50K in the stands. That was cut in half after the first half, and the departures just kept trickling out. When David and I left mid 3rd Qtr there were maybe 10K in the stands. First time in maybe 200 games that I've ever left in...

Same thing happened with Wellington, until Rozelle told him he needed a GM to make football decisions. Then Mara ceded and we started the climg back to respectability.
John Mara was 22 years old when the meadowlands opened. He was always on the sidelines and always throwing a ball around before...

In all the games he has been HQ, how many times did we come out in the 2nd half and you could tell that he made some positive adjustments?
    Never....

I've probably gone to 200 games since 1967... and David has gone to at least 50 with me. This was the first game, ever, that we left in the 3rd qtr.
This is the worst Giant team I have ever seen, from top to bottom.

    wow... Thank you, Joe.
This is the music I grew up with. That's a reason I like to be on here ... the peeps on here are younger and have totally different music preferences... and I like that.
I was raised in a home where this kind of music was always played. My dad, born in 2010, became...

When I want to relax, or just have mellow tunes in the background, I enjoy music like Celine's. Doesn't matter who... just let me hear nice, relaxing tunes. Lionel Richie, Elton... anything that isn't blasting my brains out at a high dB.
You guys would probably cringe at the classical work, Sheherazade......

Yes, where I grew up on LI, "Chief" was a fairly common name someone would call another guy they didn't know.... and, no problem/insult. I find, in the last couple of years where the sensitivity and PC issue has risen off the charts, and in light of the issue with us screwing the Indians...

Your name should have been on the order receipt for instant recall. A person in his position should definitely be respectful to every customer, and to call them by name, when they have access to it, should be expected by their manager. But, a bartender? They might see dozens of new faces on any evening....

Ya' know, sometimes you just run into an asshole who is going to be an asshole no matter how respectful you treat them. That she called you 'girly', while she expected respect in return, tells it all. Yes, ironic. "Girly' has always been a disrespectful title, to me. Don't ya just wish you...
