Raw talent is only a portion of what it takes to be, not just an elite qb, but a serviceable one. There are a plethora of qbs fitting your metric that never amounted to much. I'm just not blown away by any of these qbs. And based on what DG said, it's sounds like Barkley would fit the criteria for a 2nd overall pick. We will find out thursday after next.

Ahh I gotcha ya now. Nope makes sense. Yeah i also agree you can get rbs anywhere but man Barkley has some moves I haven't seen in a while. That's the only reason I'd ever consider a rb this high up. Why do you think that? I haven't heard one way or the other honestly and from what DG has stated, they want to take the best player at 2 compared to all drafts... from what I've seen from barkley, he seems to fit that description more so than the qbs. This is promising to hear for sure. I still, inevitably, measure eveyone up againt coughlin, and obviously parcells. But I do like the fact shurmur is under the Walsh coaching tree. I have also read he has a similar demeanor to chuck noll. That's all I have to go on until the season starts.... can't...Leave a comment:
