This is pure speculation, but I do feel it isn't completely crazy to say that BM wants a QB of his choosing and would rather not have Eli. Throwing Eli under the bus + all this defending of the OL doesn't...Leave a comment:

Just temper your expectations. Eli is a shell of his former self, which means he's pretty pedestrian at this point. The thing that set him a part is gone - the coming from behind factor.
Given this, there's no way he can be effective with this OL - unless he transforms into 2011 Eli,...Leave a comment:
