Mock 3/07
Lets Get too it!
Round 1
Dont'a Hightower LB 'Bama- We need an inside enforcer. we have found a great outside guy in Williams ad we have Boley, and Herzlich who can also play the spot. It was evident how important a leader is on the inside and Hightower is a guy that can claim that sport for the next 10 years. His forty at the combine ended speed issues.
Round 2
Kevin Zeitler OG Wisc- We need youth on the line and Zeitler is a road grader out of O-line University. He is a good puller and lead blocker as well.
Round 3
Billy Winn DT Boise- Has very good movement for a gut his size and gets great penetration from the DT position.
Round 4
Ron Brooks CB LSU- Has good size with great speed and can develope into a really good play. was overshadowed by Patrick Peterson and Morris Claiborne in his years at LSU.
Round 5
Scott Solomon DE Rice- A guy that dominated his league and was very productive at rice. can end up being a steal in the draft.
Round 6
Donte Paige- Moss DE UNC- Worth taking a flyer on at this point. has great upside but has made knucklehead choices.
Round 7
Neiko Thorpe FS Auburn- Has great size and fairly good ball skills. can develop into a good backup. solid special teamer.

No way we get Hightower. We can get Zeitler if we use the 1st on him. We can get Winn if we use the second on him. Very unrealistic

Very unrealistic[/quote]Hightower is very possible all he needs to do is get past Pit and Bal an he's ours. Zeitler by most accounts is a mid to late second round pick. Winn is a possibility, people slip all the time on draft day.

Re: Mock 3/07
One offensive player and not a skilled position? Not likely... Giants need RB and TE help as well.

LB is a must, but don't see it in the 1st.....Winn will be a 2nd.....no TE? RB?....
I don't want Paige-moss anywhere near this team.....
And in a weak Saftey class, one in the 7th round seems like a total wasted pick...
