Re: All-2012 NFL Draft team
Hm, not bad. Too obvious for my liking though. For arguments sake, i wont put obvious guys like luck and kalil
QB - Tannehill (loads of upside)
RB - Doug Martin (the next ray rice)
WR: Malcom Floyd (runs the entire route tree. fitzgerald jr.)
WR: Stephen Hill (very raw but rare combo of ball skills/top end speed)
WR: Devon Wylie (closest thing to wes welker to come out in a long time)
TE1: Coby Fleener (argaubly better pass catcher than most wide receivers in this draft)
TE2: Anthony Miller (underrated)
LT: Nate Potter (needs to bulk up but great pass protector)
LG: Kelvin Beachum
C: Konz
RG: Brandon Washington
RT: Riley Reiff (have concerns about him on the left side. elite run blocker nontheless)
DE: Andre Branch, Nick Perry (best two edge rushers imo. not a fan of the leverage/power/set up type pass rushers like coples and ingram)
DT: Fletcher Cox (the 1-gap, up the field collapse the pocket type)
DT: Brandom Thompson (congestion type DT, compliments cox well)
WLB: Lavonte David (elite instincts. tremendous athlete. Great in coverage. weakside protects him from the trenches)
ILB : Luke Kuechly
SLB: Demario Davis (just destroyed the combine in every category. might be one of the biggest steals in the draft)
CBs: Janoris Jenkins, Jamell Flemming
SS - Barron FS - Robert Golden
cant think of a slot corner. love the way kirkpatrick plays the run but he doesn't have great foot quickness despite the praise he gets for that for some strange reason
Re: All-2012 NFL Draft team
How does Demario Davis hold up against the run?
Re: All-2012 NFL Draft team
I'd put Trumaine Johnson as safety and Hayward as the corner.
Re: All-2012 NFL Draft team
While he didn't really play elite competition Davis is a complete linebacker can cover stop the run and blitz the qb one of a dying breed. Now a days its rare that a linebacker can do all three well.
