It's surfing competition called "The Eddie". [His Bio is above]....... Invitation onlyto keep those crazy enough but not experienced enough out. It's only held when the conditions permit [20 footers or bigger I think] so it's not a yearly event Conditions were rightlately Sharks are the least of you're problems when there are 30 footers in 3 feet of water[;)]</P>

I try but I'm an eastcoaster....anything over 6 or 7 foot is to big nowadays. If I was only 19 again. My 2 sons [4 kids 2 boys 2 girls]have been all over ........... San Diego ,Brazil , Costa Rica etc. They surf here on Long Island [wet suits ] right until Christmas sometimes after........</P>

Jaws did the same thing to mywife..............I just got her back in the ocean a few years ago.....we took a walk on pier in Florida last spring and some guy showed us a picture of shark he caught...she has not been in since!</P>
