Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
Quality player for the Giants to grab. He is another JPP, where he is considered a supreme athlete.
A sexier choice would have been Fleener, Still or David. But, look at the quality of depth in this draft at other positions. RB is thin and for an "athlete" like Wilson to drop in our laps, makes logical sense to pick him.
If they want to address TE, LB or DT in round two or three, there will be plenty of talent on the board. Just look at the surprises already.
Re: Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
What position do you see the NYG drafting for. Then again will it be BPA still.
Re: Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
I actually think O-Line will be addressed in round 2. Unless an absolute stud is still there at #64.
Re: Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
I no longer consider that best player available, it's clearly more of a need pick, I guess everyone got fooled on this one. So now i'll only look for need your chances are better. Round 2 would be a OT or WR with the 2 losses I'm not buying that best player available.
Re: Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
Like them to beef the O- line also.
NYG picks are all a work in progress. Cant see anyone breaking into the starting line up . What a great problem to have.
As Reese politely expressed at the news conference. Wilson will have to earn his stripes as a ST player first.

I like Reese's response... but, we all know, a frst rounder is not brought in to be a ST.

Agree: Pretty tough to break the starting line up of the NYG team. Interesting to watch what transpires with Wilson

There is no player on the board that we could have drafted at 32 who would have a chance to start week one next season.

With the possible exception of the guy we picked.

Thats the beauty of being the SB champs and picking last.

Re: Caught me off guard, but I don't hate it.
I'm hoping for Jeffery, Allen, Osemele, Silotulo, or Massie.
