Damn. If Witten doesn't recover quickly from this injury, Dallas's entire season could be lost. Witten is an integral part of their offense.

That would be great if he missed the opener at least.

Oh well, best luck of him

Always liked Whitten, hope it's not too serious. I wanna see the Cowboys on their A game anyways so let's hope he gets healthy.

Witten is a class act and I hope he makes a full recovery.

Also, I want the Cowboys at 100% for the first game of the season.

It's not a matter of liking or not, and yeah true, but with a tough schedule.. I wouldn't complain too much about having a star team player out for 1 game against us.

I understand where you are coming from. It sounds like you want Witten to make a full recovery but not for the first game, which is understandable. I wouldn't be to broken up if he wasn't ready for the first game but I'll definitely want to see him make a full recovery.

I just don't want to hear any excuses from Cowboy Fans.

I know. We hear it way too much from teams that lose one player to injury, but when we have injuries, they say,"it happens"

I agree with you. I used to be one that said lets have them at their best so they have no excuses. however we were the team last season the opponents got to play without alot of our Star players. we were the team that had Nicks out, Tuck out, osi out, etc, ect, etc on and on and on. I am sure they didnt feel to bad about having to play us with 3 or 4 less starts on the roster vs them. If he is back he is back, if not then I fine with playing and beating them without him. we have already proved twice last season we can beat them with him.. so whats the big deal

You know i think i know what play he got hurt on. i was watching that game. Romo was getting absolutely destroyed and the defense was barring down on him for another sack and he dumped it off to whitten on right in backfield with ton of coverage all over him and he got hit hard and driven back hard by McClain i think. I think in that case romo left him exposed and should have just thrown the ball away
