I'm cool with that, teams will usually offer more money than the Giants do. Just look back at the players we've lost because we set a certain value on them and won't overpay the value we set. You think he makes a lot though, look at Rolle, Websters and Canty's salary.

You pay for what you need- the giants had a tremendous need at dt and safety hence the inflated contracts to Rolle and canty- now te giants have options at safety and don't need to overpay- if anything after the needs of resigning jpp nicks Cruz the need moves more to olineand maybe cb/ lb and maybe even dt again- but giants may address via draft depending on cap

Oh I understand the overpaying, just thought I'd mention KP's contract is nothing compared to those guys..

For coming up- but as it stands it is not a big contract for sure

I say get rid of rolle before KP. He often takes bad angles in coverage and there is way to much communication issues. Plus he is good for at least one knuckle head play a game. I think Rolle has been very over rated thus far.

Yeah I'd be willing to keep him for 2 - 3m a year..

Problem is, as far as i know, Rolle is still under contract a few seasons. Don't know what the cap hit for cutting him is... Though I agree, in a perfect world I'd keep KP and Stevie...

The Giants don't typically cut guys just to make cap room. If you get cut by the Giants with time left on your contract, it's because you can't play. Antrel Rolle can play.

I'd rather they keep him as long as he doesn't ask for to much. I honestly think the future of this team at the Safety position is Will Hill.
