Do you think this is his last year with the team?

if his contract is up it could be! if he considers himelf a starter which he does then he could be gone unless he picks up his game significantly over the next 8 games!

the Giants arent going to pay him #1 corner money if he anit a #1!

if he plays the same as previous games he may take a paycut and possible demotion to stay with the Giants beyond this season!

I think it depends on what we do in the draft and also how he finishes out the rest of the season. If we go on a run like last year, he could be back but you never know.

His production this year does not equal what he will make. They have cap issues and he has been struggling this year. Prince is their new #1 in the secondary and they just drafted Hosely. They will need to draft another CB this draft or pick up a veteran that has a couple of years left and won't cost much.

All good points. I don't think he's worth the money to be honest. I really hope we draft a physical CB opposite of Prince.

Might not be that easy. They have cap issues and have some stars that will need to be paid soon. They will need to draft one, maybe get an UDFA, or find a reliable veteran that has a year or two left in him and doesn't cost much.

Something tells me they let Webster play out the rest of his contract (2013 season) at his current salary and then he is let go. Just my gut feeling.
