At this moment, I also would not hesitate to re-sign him onto the team if he becomes available. He's played on the Giant's offense for many years now, which already puts him past torrain and lumpkin.

In a perfect world I would take him back in a heatbeat. He is what a true Giant is all about. That been said it would not surprise me if he comes back next year if the price is right. It's a shame it all had to end last year with that contract dispute, not blaming him or FO, its business and its part of the game. I feel for him because he is true blue and doesn't know better than that.

You mean the Jacobs who has been in decline the last few years and did very little with the same O-line they have this year? The one that tip-toes to the line or tries to run outside instead of north and south? I think if Jacobs was here we would still be crushing the running game...I don't think he would make much of a difference.

New blood and letting go of the past is what we need, otherwise I say sign Otis Anderson.

I saw where Starks got injured for GB and they want right out and resigned Ryan grant to replace him. Wonder if they had the choice of lumpkin and torain if they would haven taken either of them or just went with what they were familiar and comfortable with

Torain and Lumpkin had been free agents since the end of last season. If the Packers (or anyone else) wanted them, they'd have signed them.

If he was cut, I can't imagine that we wouldn't pick him up and dump Torrain or Blumpkin . . . . . .

I may be in the minority, but I always liked BJ. That being said, I doubt they cut him for fear of the 49ers perhaps having to face him come playoff time.

    I would!

He really regrets being let go over that 500 grand....

I'd imagine he wouldn't be tip toeing if we got him and we ended up playing the 49ers in the playoffs...

I wouldn't go as far as to say BJ is trying to be waived in order to come to the Giants.*

I most certainly would welcome him back this season.
