Luckily, that rookie (Might I suggest ROtY) has been basically the most consistent starter on our roster this year.

It won't happen (Verlander I mean)

There are a handful of writers who vote who refuse to vote pitchers on MVP ballots at all. So by default those people cant get voted to MVP because instead of low rank votes, they get NO rank. I just don't see it happening for Verlander</P>

Why would I be pissed if Verlander won the mvp?</P>


Because pitchers should not win mvp. </P>


Only way I see a pitcher should even be considered for mvp is there are no real offensive players that stand out. </P>


Verlander should win the cy young no question, but mvp should be for everyday players. </P>
