    I made the same point several times to KG supporters, but they can't answer the question. Agism is definitely the major contributor. If KG was younger, he would've been picked up by another team a long time ago.

    Sorry, MS, but you are wrong there. We use more R&S concepts than you think. We don't just do mere sight adjustments, but rather route options based off of the defense.

    What I find interesting is the point that the one guy made when he said that Gilbride had to "make a deal with the devil to work in the NFL," speaking of course to never being a HC for an extended period of time.

    Unfortunately for Gilbride, Ryan Leaf was his QB, and the emotional instability is really the worst attribute you can possess in a Gilbride-esque offense, which is probably one of the most complex schemes in the NFL.

    What Gilbride demands from his QBs is what makes Eli so impressive to some people (myself included), and yet so underwhelming to others. The results aren't always pretty, or spectacular, but the management of responsibility is really impressive and goes unnoticed by too many people.
