And when utilize the right way, he could get close to being a 1,000 yard receiver. I wish I was the Giants OC and have most of the control of the Giants offense.

I think they have to try to sign him, but it all comes down to cost/benefit. If he comes at an acceptable price he is definitely a big part of the offense, but at the same time, so has every TE that has been on the team over the past several years. The question would be are there other TEs on the roster that can contribute in the same way should he leave? My guess... probably. But would still like to have him back.

Resign. He was a major contributor this year in receiving & run blocking.

Bennett just had by far the best season of any TE in their first season with Gilbride. And he had a pretty significant injury for most of the year.

I still believe he could be close to 1k yards and 100 catches next season if he stays.

Oh yeah. A whole other year in the scheme, improved health, improved rapport with Eli, etc.

    Less thinking, more playing.

What I like about him is his understanding his role as a blocker is as important as his role as a receiver. Having played in Dallas, his "wanting" to stay here tells me we have an organization players like to be associated with.

My favorite moment was when he got lit up and they thought he had a concussion, and he has trainers escorting him off the field, and all you see is the group surrounding him bust into laughter. Awesome personality, and he's been a true Giant in his short tenure here.
