Even TC has said in his pressers that Bennett is unique and always cracks a smile when he says it. I think Bennett's playing behind Witten makes him appreciative of having the opportunity the Giants have given him.

    A true win win situation

Slip, you might remember this if anyone does, didn't Gilbride and TC have issues with the way they used the TE back in Jacksonville, I seem to remember guys complaining about it

jacobs got paid the money he was looking for and took one snap if memory serves. he got cut before the season ended. no more jacobs. most RB's life spans in the league are roughly 5 years

I think we can get a even cheaper alternative, and Bennett was not making some plays he should of at end of season.. I think a guy like Travis Kelce Cincy can be every bit as good as Bennett , and probably better, and is also cheaper.. Jake Ballard and Kevin Boss were every bit as good, and they just happened to get the bulk of playing time, just like Bennett.. If Bennett was so good, he'd of clearly jumped those guys statistaclly, and i don't think he really did, and we got Boss in Rd5, and Ballard as UDF.. A guy like Kelce could be had in RD4 probably and is a studly blocker with speed and size, and wonderful hands.. U give him the bulk of playing time, and u will truly see a diffrence maker...

are u kidding? Jake Ballard, Kevin Boss did just as good for teh most part.. Those are 5th rd draft picks outta W.Oregon who did nothing after leaving NY, and a UDF who did very little at Ohio St.. Like BParcells said, we can do better...

keep bennet and stop playing musical tight ends i think he will only get better and he played through injury plus hes a good in the run game and can be even better if he gets the knack staying on his blocks with a little more consistency.
