    If we have Hixon I would not be so worried about any of our WR getting injured. He could plug and play into any position on demand if any of our WR get injured. Nicks-Hixon-Randle, Hixon-Cruz-Randle, and Nicks-Cruz-Hixon are all viable receiver sets from what I see...

    See, this is what so many fans don't seem to appreciate about Hixon. He's like the plug and play poster guy. Whatever they ask, he does, and is one of the best, if not the best route runner, on the team, according to Eli and Gilbride statements in the past. Despite the "Philadephia Drop" he rarely drops passes.

    He can fill in for anyone, at any time and produce numbers.

    He can return kicks too. Maybe make things easier for Wilson to take the starting back role.
