EXACTLY! Some people are so full of ****. If anyone thinks Bennet is not the best blocking TE we have had in a LONG time, they dont know football.

Ok... Pascoe is a good blocker, he might not be a great one but he is good.

Bennet is a much better all around TE, but to say Pascoe is not even close in blocking is a little much. First of all, all TEs can block, and if they cant, adios. To say Pascoe is not a good blocker is just absurd man.

Haha, well while I may not be a total stat geek, like some of these guys here (I actually have a life). Ive watched Giants football for 31 years, and I played all my life up till a bad car accident my junior year in high school. I may not sit here and study charts and stats, but I know enough about the game of football. Doesnt take a genius to see that Pascoe is a beast on the line. Like I said earlier tho, its unfortunate that that is all he can do.

Indeed, if Pascoe wasn't a good blocker the giants wouldn't even keep him. As you said is unfortunate that he is not really an asset to the passing game, but he is most definitely in the running game. AND HE HURTLED SOMEONE that gots to count for something haha:p

Yeah Slip, but let's be clear that he was no where near as good a blocker as Shocks.

I have to believe that is why we probably let him walk. Our scheme requires blocking first and receiving second.

You can't be serious????? This statement is so far from the truth it actually made me spit up my coffee. Bennett isnt the greates TE in the league but he was the BEST TE we have had since Shockey BAR NONE. He made som spectacular catches and YES his blocking was well above average. You also have to remember he was a FA Plug and Play Player. He is still learning Gilbrides Offense which is arguabley the hardest Offense in the NFL to Learn and retain.

IMOVHO -- He is the answer at TE at this point in time

    Peace

I remember Shiancoe being a good run blocker with good hands, but not terribly athletic.
