Iowa State LT that is getting a lot of hype as the top guard prospect. Havent seen a lot of him hopwe U guys enjoy.

Jamarkus Mcfarland vs Iowa State 2010

This kid has been a disappointment for the most part. He was a highly sought after 5 star recruit that showed up in Norman as a 280 pound freshman. He had a NY Times piece written about him http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/26/sp...26recruit.html . He was expected to take over for Gerald Mccoy immediately but has yet to break the starting lineup. He may not start again this year and thats after starter Stacy Mcgee got arrested for Marijuana possession. However he is extremely physically talented and the light could switch on at any time. He is one of those guys that could just burst onto the scene and be the best DT in the country . Ive seen it plenty of times at that position
[/quote]
For being such a big guy Osmele sure does get pushed back alot....What is he Nigerian? (kidding)

I chuckled

Not a bad list imho, though I do think Denard Robinson is more of a longshot and as exciting as he is on his feet, I dont like him there with all that is going on at Michigan. The new coach there runs a pro style offense which to me, means Robinson may end up playing another position.

ESPN.com has him as their 2nd strongest player in college football and Muscle prodigy.com has him as THE strongest player in college football

Mike Martin, NT, Michigan Wolverines

The
Wolverines' defense might have been flimsy last season, but don't blame
Martin. The 298-pounder, a guy who won a high school state wrestling
title in his first season competing in the sport, is a freak. He's
squatted more than 700 pounds, power cleaned 430, hang cleaned 475 and
bench pressed more than 500. Oh, and he's run the 40-yard dash in the
4.9-second range.

who can bench press 505 pounds, squat 700 pounds, power clean 430
pounds, hang clean 475 pounds and run a 4.9 second 40 yard dash is
deserving of the top spot on this list. Martin does it all in the weight
room and on the athletic field. Not only does he excel in football but
he was a two-time high school state champion in wrestling and the shot
put in his hometown state of Michigan. Martin is looking to improve on
his solid play after getting All-Conference selection by both the
coaches (2nd team) and the media (honorable mention) last season.

Re: 2012 Draft Film Room
I just watched his film against Indiana and dude is a beast. His giving it his all ever single play to break through the offensive line. The only thing that I didn't like is that he's too committed to breaking the offensive line. There was a screen play that happened and he could've batted the ball down if he was aware of what was happening.

Blown coverages aside, I just don't think he's physically strong enough to be an everydown player in the NFL. More likely than not he'll be a return specialist who only plays passing downs at the next level, but the question remains, is that worth a 1st round pick?
I say yes, but late 1st round, not top 15 like alot of mocks have him going right now.

Nevermind this guys stock is plummeting as we speak (FYI for those not in the know, he was caught speeding at upwards of 118mph in a car rented by a UO employee)
