Clearly there's no debate how good Ben is at handing the ball off to his RB.
His numbers aren't all that great outside a dome. He is an overrated stat conscious football chucker.
Brady over Peyton? ROFL
Ni, I mean Eli. Defense was fantastic too though.
Brady never threw for more than 30 TD until 2007 and only 4000 yards once before that but everyone pretty much had him locked up for the HOF after his 3rd SB. Don't know what's up with the double...
After that performance and basically dominating in 2011 beating teams with QB like Rodgers, Ryan and Brady cemented his status into the HOF in my eyes. But obviously there will be plenty of...
One big mistake against the Eagles and our dinosaur coaching staff stops playing him. Barden doesn't need to get too much separation, he has Eli as his QB. He just needs to get some playing time but...
Tired of this media garbage. It's always about who reports something first rather than accurate information.
He was more bearable to watch than the likes before him.
Panasonic batteries probably died out.
11-5 SB Champs.
Eli Manning 3rd SB MVP.
Says the guy still carrying a beeper with him.
Why are you agreeing with youself?
I was probably thinking of a different year with Hixon.
Which means squat when you have a QB with excellent pocket presense. Both Mannings are usually the least sacked QB in the league every year because of it, Rodgers on the other hand has terrible...
Eli had 30+ TD one year I believe. I think 2010.
Eli should've had 5k yards back in 2011 if it wasn't for Nicks and Hixon routinely dropping his bombs that season. Outside of Tiki, Eli has never had a catching RB that can be used in short passes...
But 4thand1 makes a very good point in stating that the Pats defense played plenty of garbage time games. That would tend to make defenses play more conservatively and end up skewing the stats. The...
Peyton is definitely stat hungry. Any QB who can completely ignore his running game and just air it out all the time wants to put up stats. The fact that he had a habit of doing this probably cost...
You tend to beat around the bush when arguments are presented crystal clearly. Nobody brought up the Giants defense at all.
Good point, scores don't tell the entire story. Eli put up more TD in less possessions against a much better team. His performance was easily better than Peyton's.
Yup, nothing wrong with wanting to throw TD or tons of yards but I prefer if the QB doesn't rub it in everyones face like a Brees.
Or take 8 sacks when at least half could've been thrown away...
2 Td vs 1. Came back twice in the 4th quarter against an 18-0 team.
As long as you repeat the same words of advise to your colleagues (morehead and gumby) it's all good!!
Have a good day, looking forward to presenting my arguments in a civilized manner as always.
