  1. Re: TOM COUGHLIN WANTS TO COACH THE GIANTS INTO HIS 70'S

Coughlin was born two months before me, and we both work out every day. I have no plans of quitting either..Go Tom!
  2. Re: GIANTS MAY LOOK TO ADDRESS RUNNING BACK SITUATION THROUGH NFL DRAFT

David Wilson who looks like he might be available at 32 has good potential, although the knock on him is run blocking.

    Re: RIP - Ron Erhardt

    Mr Smash Mouth!

I remembered fans complained about him the way they now do about Gilbride.

But you can't argue with two rings.
  4. Re: Marty Glickman, WNEW: "It's caught by Bobby Duhon, he fumbles!"

I remember at rhe end of his career Glickman was the trainer of jocks who wanted to turn announcer. He would do one tv game a year. He did a horrible Jets game and said, "Gee, if this was on radio, I...

Who will be our breakout star next year?

Should we prepare for the Da'Rel Scott experience?

It seems like every year someone on this team comes seemingly from relative nowhere--e.g., JPP, Osi, Cruz. I would even put Ballard, Boss and...
  6. Cruz feels the love, and judges salsa contest at UMASS

My son at UMASS texted me the other day that Cruz was at a basketball game, and judged a salsa contest at halftime.

He got big cheers from the crowd.

And this at a hotbed of Pat...

Re: Best QB in NY History

Dave Anderson, who wrote the article, has been covering football, seemingly, since Amos Alonzo Stagg.

He says that on the basis of accomplishments, Eli is number 1, and offers the subjective...

    Whitney Houston, RIP

Only 48. Cause of death not immediately known.

A piece of Giants history. Sang the Anthem at SB XXV.

Sad. Having a comeback. Appearing in a new movie.

    Re: Eli's Vette. . . . .What a machine!!!!!!!

When I saw the car, I thought, no room for the baby. I guess Olivia would be happy to babysit.

    Re: Fire Reese!!!

But how will this board react in 2012 after we lose a game or heaven forbid two in a row? My money is on this board having a short memory and overreacting yet again--but that's the fun of being a fan.

    Re: Connecticut giants country?

I grew up in NYC, but now live in New Haven. Mostly Giants, few Jets, some Pats.

And don't forget the Yale Bowl was the home field for the Giants in 1973-74 while they were building Giants...
  13. Re: When They Mention The Welker Drop,Here's What You Tell'em.

There's also the non-interference call on Manningham, which killed a drive.

But the best response is that the Patsies wouldn't have even been in the SB had not the Ravens missed a chip shot...

Re: Can we please have Giants Stadium back?

I'm All In about calling it Giants Stadium.

But I kind of like the thought of Rex and his minions seeing yet another trophy in the case.
  15. Fire Reese! Fire Coughlin! Sanchez > Eli!

    ROTFLMAO!
  16. Re: *** OFFICIAL SUPER BOWL XLVI GAME DAY THREAD - GIANTS @ PATRIOTS***

Almost surprised they didn't go for it.
  17. Re: *** OFFICIAL SUPER BOWL XLVI GAME DAY THREAD - GIANTS @ PATRIOTS***

    Genius Bellichek, not.
  18. Re: *** OFFICIAL SUPER BOWL XLVI GAME DAY THREAD - GIANTS @ PATRIOTS***

Dinking and dunking against a dink and dunk team.

Brings them close to the line and opens up deep.

    Re: Gronk update

Guessing it will be easier to cover him with a linebacker--someone of the size to more easily take him down.

    Re: What to wear......

And you have to fly Jet Blue.
  22. Re: Nickname For the Giants Defense. Any suggestions before the Superbowl?

As Tony Bennet sings (we left the Niners' heart in San Francisco), and considering the defense peaked right when we needed them:

"I found you just in time."

    or

    "I found you Justin (Tuck)...
  23. Re: Where would you rank Corery Webster? This guy is the single most underrated player in the NFL

Unless he makes an INT, I don't want to hear a c-back's name. I haven't heard his name much. So I know he's doing his job.
  24. Will the Giants be the most pundit picked underdog in SB history?

It's obvious that a big chunk of the analysts/pundits are picking the Giants not only to cover the modest spread but to win outright.

One talking head said this is the most inaccurate betting line...
  25. Re: Priceless Video of Patriots fan Reaction to Giants Win Sunday!!!

Here's a good one from last week of a Packer fan crying. Apparently she jinxed the Pack because she took her friend's advice on put sparkle on her nails.

We're leaving a trail of tears behind us....
