You have to be able to mix it up, otherwise offenses will shred you no matter what.
Press coverage?? OK, but the way flags are being thrown, I'm not sure defenses should put their eggs in the...
Yea, there's no chance of NOT starting Mr. Mara's $100M man.
But if the Giants were smart, they'd give him one series a game. That's what teams who are serious about their young backups do.
I question whether ANY kickoffs that reach the endzone should be returned.
He could be the Jake Ballard of Tight Ends.
As we speak, Jerry Reese is in communication with a team looking to unload an injured veteran for a 7th rounder.
The trade should catapult us out of the top 15 draft picks. . .but barely.
Let's ask this question:
When other teams see NYG on THEIR schedule, what do THEY think? A win or a loss for them??
That's a more realistic idea of what our record will be.
Only if JR gives Richburg a pay raise.
If the kickoff goes into the end zone, it should NEVER be returned. Coverage is 10 yards closer than it used to be.
Yeah this guy Donnell is the Jake Ballard of Tight Ends.
I agree. Eli doesn't seem to be playing poorly.
And almost as important is JPP looks like a good player again.
we should lock him up for the next 6 years
If he's learned anything from Justin Tuck and Kiwi, and that you have to save it all until the last 6 games. Let's see what he does.
Please pardon my correction.
Wayne Gretzky's little brother actually made it to the NHL. He was known as "The Good One".
I want Washington to do well as much as the next guy, but with our current group of coaches, I don't see how he'll get significant playing time without multiple injuries above him on the depth chart.
The Giants will go with the safest pick. The guy who will catch the snap cleanly and get the ball away quickly. Hang time and directional kicking will not matter one bit. . .especially if it's for...
+1 (see sig)
If I'm not mistaken, he tried to come back and practice TWICE. And both times he aggravated his injury and made it worse. I give him and the team credit for trying, but it didn't work.
Let me try to find a positive here. . .
It won't be in front of a national audience.
The Giants historically disappoint on Monday nights.
But they gave little hope of showing much different this week.
I think it's that he left us while he was still under contract and had good seasons ahead of him still. And then he gave opinions about his teammates (#10), which were less than flattering.
Montana has even better credentials. Does that mean he should be starting next week for the 49ers?
The biggest question in my mind is this: Who is going to leave this team first, Eli Manning or...
If you think Tom Coughlin is going to sit his boss' $100Mil man, you haven't been watching this team in the last ten years.
