The irony of this entire post
What mystifies me is that you can watch both Bradshaw and Wilson and think Bradshaw had great vision and patience and Wilson is very poor. I would rate them roughly even in that department
Remember when Dayne averaged 5 ypc? Ya, me neither
Yes, and why wouldn't they have? If Cruz never signed his tender he could have held out until week 11. Playing in only 6 games deserves a much smaller contract.
If Cruz told them he would show up...
If he leaves in FA and signs a huge deal elsewhere the giants DO get something in return. A comp draft pick. Depending on the contract it could be as high as a 3rd round pick.
And they always...
Yep, though I think Bradshaw had much the same issue with patience and instincts. Bradshaw turned into a very capable starter.
Brown has the best instincts of any HB the giants have had since...
"Starter" is pretty much meaningless now in football at most positions
None of the numbers are official until the season starts. That's why you don't buy rookie jerseys now.
No they aren't. There are a LOT of nfl teams who use 3 safety sets all the time. There are college teams that use it as a base defense
When you go nickel which almost every team uses as it's base...
They never "ride the bench". Almost every rookie thats 3rd round or higher gets significant snaps, assuming they stay healthy
Almost every team in the league has a sub package with 3 safeties. That's just how it is with all the spread offenses are using. There are very few in any Lbs in the league that can cover a guy...
4-3 under/over he would be on the line. That is the joker position.
Disagree on both comments.
Dont think he was ever a top 10 pick.
And he didnt fall to the 3rd because of his workout at the combine, he fell due to a lot of reasons, not the least of which was...
For smaller players its completely about how they translate speed into power. Von Miller has run over many a tackle, and he's 240 pounds.
You don't need to be big to be a power rusher.
Doesn't matter who it was against.
Why was moore considered a "speed rush specialist"? Had they never watched him play?
Or is it because they figured weight is what counts to be an effective power rusher? Because that is also...
Sign him and use two FB sets when Hyno is healthy.
Who needs receivers.
Do the giants ever have rookie of the years?
Who was last years? Or the year before?
Hynoski > Leach
It's the only public team. So you asked for one team where you can see there books. I gave it to you.
Not sure what your argument is now
2011 draft could go down as one of the best first rounds of any draft ever, and that's with the second half of the first round being full of crap.
Packers
all teams run scripted plays the first drive (or first few drives depending on their length) to see how the defense will play against certain formations and lineups.
Shouldnt be an excuse not to...
Cam Chancellor is what they hope this guy can become.
Who was the guy saying Sash was the next Ed Reed after he was drafted?
Sash is the reason you don't base everything off college stats
