Re: Eli 5th on Jaws QB Countdown

Everyone needs to stop being so butthurt over these rankings.

He's not the best QB in the league until he cuts down the turnovers.

    Top 5 is perfect.
  2. Re: Best season at all positions this year for the GMEN:

I'm thinking Kenny Phillips has a damn good season this year.

5-6 INTs, 75 tackles, continues to excel in shutting down his deep half.
  3. Re: Haven't heard a lick about Da"Rel Scott... Feel like he's being lost in the mix

If he can pick up pass protection and work on ball security, he'll have a spot

Re: Is Big Ben Better Than Eli?

I think in the past 2-3 years, I'd say Ben was better.

    Right now, they're about even.

In the future, Eli will be better.
  6. Re: On paper this might be the best defense we've ever had

It'll also be the third year under Fewell.
  7. Re: Cowboys player says "...we don't see why we shouldn't be in the Super Bowl this year."

The worst part is that a young runningback can't outperform an aging tight end in agility drills
  8. Re: How do you think our rushing game will be this year?

I'd be fine if we could average 110-120 yards on the ground per game.

    That isn't bad at all.

It's about average. But look at what Eli and co. did without a run game. Imagine if he had a...

Re: QB Eli Manning on young WRs

If Hixon can stay healthy, he can be a really solid option for Eli. Other than that one drop in 08 against Philly (on the deep post, we all remember that), he's been consistent. That's what we need...

Re: Thomas doesnt look too good

Well, hopefully Prince matures this season. They've got depth (as of now) at the position.

    Re: Terrell Owens released?

    NO.
  14. Re: Video of all of Rueben Randle's catches/targets last year

He should do very well with Eli throwing him the ball.

Granted, he's a rookie adjusting to pro defenses, but we can all see how athleticism combined with readiness can turn into a monster. If he...

Re: VICTOR CRUZ IS NOW THE NUMBER ONE RECEIVER

Let's be fair, Terrence Newman didn't really count as "coverage" last season.
  16. Re: What position battle will you be keeping an eye on?

    Definitely, definitely linebacker.

We all know Boley will start, but I want to see who fills the other spots. Kiwi, Blackburn, Jones, Herzlich, J. Will, hell maybe Adrian Tracy can do something.

Re: 4-6 weeks/source within giants org.

I'd rather have Nicks out for 10-12 weeks. Let it heal, he doesn't need the mental reps in practice that the other WRs do. As weird as it sounds, he is the veteran receiver on the team now (Hixon,...

Re: VICTOR CRUZ IS NOW THE NUMBER ONE RECEIVER

I know we all believe in Eli, but the analysts need to realize his play is going to be a huge factor in the development of these WRs.

Maybe only Brady, Peyton, and Brees are better at developing...

Re: Nicks out 12 weeks with fractured foot.

    Gives Randle time to develop.

I think Nicks has enough of a grasp of the offense to come back in seamlessly mentally, just worried how he'll come back physically.

  24. Re: HENRY HYNOSKI IS READY FOR A BIGGER ROLE IN GIANTS' OFFENSE

Yea the dude getting pissy is being ridiculous.

Not Hynoski's fault that Baas and the guards were routinely whiffing on blocks and letting LBs in like water through a broken dam.

    He showed...
