Our last need is Oline??? O_o
We better say adios to KG before we ever even think of moving Eli.
I still think it was an awful trade. Still, we won 2 SBs in the last 7 years, so in the end it worked out.
Rivers is better than Eli ***runs off thread
I don't care what value anybody thought he had. We needed a bonafide starter at RT and we got one.
FYI We still may move Pugh to the left next season if Beatty continues to struggle. Every 1st...
We are all wannabe's on the GMB. None of us are getting paid. MS is a good poster. Hell, Roanokefan reminds me all the time it's not actually my money being spent. For me part of the fun of the...
We are not trading Eli under any circumstances. KG is gone after this year
No offensive line help until the sixth round?!?!? C'mon bro!
Exactly when do you think we will see the guy? Eli will be here for at least 5 more years.
Carson Palmer had Tommy John surgery, and his arm has never been since.
I don't think he'll be the "heart" of our line, but he should be a solid Giant for years to come. We NEED a mauler on the interior of the line.
Which is why the Nassib pick confused me. ELi has at the least 5 years left. If Nassib is good enough he's not going to resign with the Giants after his rookie contract is up hoping Eli retires. ...
He's only 2 years off his last SB victory and he's only 31 years old (I think). I'm not letting Eli go with EFFING Nassib waiting in the wings or Bridgewater as a possible replacement. Eventually...
I agree about the Nassib move being a mistake.
The Eli comparison to Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco is a bad one. Eli signed his contract in 2009. At the time it made him the highest paid QB in the...
I've got him on probation for the next 2-3 years. Until then I'll make no judgment either way.
I agree his offense's performance has been concerning this year. Player talent helps. There is no Arian Foster or AJ in NY. He had a much better run blocking line as well.
I don' think OC's...
If he still wants $8-9 million a year then I wish him the best in all his endeavors.
Whatever he got paid. IMHO you can't out perform an NFL contract. These guys get paid amazing money to play a game. So I think there is a real world value and there is a market value.
I am one of the biggest critics of Eli. I don't think he's "great" or "elite" in any shape or form. Never the less, he's proven. Not just one ring, but 2, and the second one was on his back.
I think what he's entitled to and what his level of play looks like are 2 different things. I want all these players to get as much money as possible, but if you play for my Giants your play needs...
$15 million a year is what his contract averages out to just about. IMO, you can't outperform $15 million in one year, but you damn sure can play like a QB worth a lot less and this year Eli has...
Bam! Bam! Bam! The league has adjusted to the KG system.
We'll get something good in the draft. I'm hoping we trade down and get the best guard available, unless they see a DE with star potential.
ahhhh good point...there could be a problem on a screen, but Prince, TT, Rolle, and Hill are notoriously good on clean up of those kind of plays.
Running backs? We're talking about running backs? We own RBs.
I want to switch this guy back to LT badly.
