I didn't think of Eli following Collins, good point.
Those are great examples. I hope the Giants are that fortunate. I liked K Collins as a player, so a player of his caliber would fine, I just hope Eli is not followed by another D Brown.
Eli has had his share of bad moments, no doubt. The difference between Eli, and the guys you mentioned is those guys weren't capable of the amazing plays. Love or hate Eli, there is always hope he...
MM did have the catch, but he also ran himself out of bounds earlier in the game on what could have been a big play. I remember Collinsworth mentioning MM doing this a couple of times. Maybe MM does...
Not saying I believe your are wrong, I'm just curious why you feel it's not close
Best of luck with your recovery
I hear you. My point is that maybe KG's suggestion isn't a bad one, and given his experience, we shouldn't summarily dismiss his opinion. I'm not saying you are doing this, but there are others that...
Not disagreeing with any of your points, just curious why you believe BP is the smarter of the two?
Game passing him by or not, there isn't a person posting on this board that is going to win a football debate with KG in terms of player assessment/position strategy.
I'm glad to see someone say this. As a fan it's fun to second guess the professionals, but there are some folks that seem to lose sight of the fact you don't stay in the nfl for over 20 years if your...
No doubt. I am saying the fact he worked in the nfl as a coach for over 20 years gives his opinion credibility.
I'd bet Romo gets at least as much attention as Eli
I didn't hear KGs comments, but if he did suggest it, I'm sure there is sound logic to his reasoning. I'm not saying he his right, but his 20+ years coaching in the nfl gives him credibility.
Cam Newton better than Eli?? Most people agree?? On what basis?? Stats?? Wins?? Don't think so buddy. Eli pretty much destroys Superman in most...
Most people think Cam Newton is better than Eli, are you sure about that one? Based on what?
[QUOTE=Darien4498;1517227]Eli is not a top 10 QB right now, definitely not a top
You don't believe he was top 10 last year?
Definitely a fair point about his TD/INT ratio.
Luck is an amazing player, but i do find it interesting his INTs don't seem to get that much attention. He has 5 more playoff INTs than Eli, in 5 fewer games.
And this is exactly why I love Eli. For all his ups and downs, he has to be one of the last QBs an opposing team/fans want to see in the playoffs or SB
I think this is very fair.
I love Eli as the Giant's QB, and there are only a handful of QBs I would choose over him, and you mentioned most of them, and those players are the most dominant at...
I couldn't agree more with the point you are making
No disrespect to those saying they watch tape, but I have to admit I laugh a little too.
Eli played really well in the playoffs and SB. Regular season was uneven at best
