Wilson may never play again due to his neck injury. He could play every game and lead the league. No one knows right now, hence the interest in other returners and RBs.
Like I said before, we lose Tuck we have ZERO healthy proven DEs left.
Agreed. Plus he is a beast against the run. We lose Tuck, we better draft a playmaker early. It doesn't really make sense to me to dump Tuck and pickup another free agent DE.
Everyone keeps saying let Tuck walk. That's fine, but he is our only healthy proven DE right now. JPP is hurt, Moore is a question mark and Kiwi is a backup.
I just feel that he is our only proven DE. A solid pass rusher and BEAST against the run. JPP has yet to show he has recovered from surgery, Kiwi is a backup, and Moore hasn't shown anything.
We do have continuity, so much that it might grow a little stale but I like it better than some of the other circuses.
Hopefully we can keep Tuck on a friendly deal. He is the only proven healthy DE we have right now.
Baas. David Baas
With everyone talking about the possibility of McAdoo taking over as HC when Coughlin retires, what about Fewell who has been here longer?
It can't get much worse lol
We haven't had a top 10 draft pick since 2004 and missed on several late round picks. Tough to build a team that way.
"Rolle led the Giants in tackles with 98 (80 solo), and interceptions with six. In addition, he had two sacks, 12 passes defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery."
He had a great year. I...
It always amazed me how Tiki could move in traffic or at the last second to avoid the big hit.
We could use them to trade up and draft another project!
Exactly what I was thinking.
Just meant most people assume the new OC will eventually become the new head coach, meanwhile Fewell has been interviewed by quite a few teams including the Redskins recently.
I'm not saying he...
How come no one ever mentions Perry Fewell as a potential HC?
Why not start the season with a simplified defense and make it more complex as players get comfortable?
I'd like to see Hillis with a full offseason of training and a full camp. Then add halfway decent blocking in front of him.
Not a fact, but he hinted towards retirement before a second major hip injury.
Snee will retire and Eli will extend his contract to lower the cap number. Not sure about Baas.
Hopefully a fair contract with a lot of incentives.
Jernigan has flashed over the years. He had a good return in the 2011 Superbowl too
