If Cooper drops it will be.
If Cooper is there, he has to be the pick. We have plenty of needs, WR not necessarily being the most glaring, but Cooper would give us the youngest, most dynamic WR combo in the league. None of...
I'll be there, but I will not be stalking them at their hotel :-) We should meet for a beer if there is a group from the MB going.
There's going to be so many people pissed off when we draft Scherff. It almost makes me want him.
Marpet's being considered a possible 2 now. Doubt he's there in 4. Like the idea to trade down though, depending on who's available at 9.
LT isn't our problem. Beatty is fine, particularly if he has a starting quality OG next to him.
We need as many picks as we can get. Not only do we need starting talent at many key positions, but we also need quality depth. I'd love Williams, but I don't like the idea of giving away picks.
Gotcha. I haven't watched tape to have an honest opinion.....just go on what I read and hear. Good to know though.
What is it about Shelton that yall don't like? The more I read and hear the more I want him. I'm starting to lean towards him, unless Cooper is available.
The only thing I'd truly be upset...
Exactly. Not to mention how much it'd help out Beason or whoever plays MLB. That's be a good young DT duo.
I love the idea of grabbing Cooper....Him, ODB, RR, Cruz, would be the best WR core in the league, in my opinion. I just don't see him falling to us.
So, the other glaring needs would be WLB,...
Are yall talking about grabbing him with the 9th?
Hankins is a stud. Ellis was a backup, albeit to two good DTs, but a backup so is unknown. Bromley has done nothing to date that gives me hope, and he was considered a huge reach when we drafted...
Shelton is slowly becoming my top pick. I just don't see Cooper falling to us.
Lockett looks good on paper....and he could return punts. I still have a hard time grabbing a WR, unless it's Cooper, but I'd be fine with Lockett in the 3rd or 4th.
If Cooper/White don't fall in our laps do the Giants go after a WR in a later round? We picked up Harris in FA, and have a plethora of "potential" talent and depth, but JR mentioned moving forward...
Not sure why more folks aren't talking about Shelton. He's got the tools to be a pro bowl DT for years to come, and is a good run stuffer and pass rusher.
Shelton is definitely on my short list.
....could help Cooper/White fall a bit. Could be interesting!
For me it's more about the fact PF is gone than it is that Spags is back. Much like it was when KG left. From a philosophy standpoint I believe in an aggressive scheme. PF was a bit too passive...
I was close! :)
I thought Cruz was 24. If that's the case we will have 4 starting caliber Wr's on our roster 25 years of age, or less.
Randle does not suck, and the fact that you mentioned Harris before him...
I don't think he will fall to us, but if we got Cooper that'd give us 4 starting caliber WRs under the age of 25. That's pretty enticing.
I'd take Shelton in a heart beat. He's on my short list of players I really want.
I don't understand why folks continue to overlook this kid. He has done nothing but produce when given the chance, and he was considered a great pick coming out of college due to his play and...
