What can either FB do that a bigger blocking TE can't do better?
Coughlin is just disappointed with the situation. Neither ODB or coach decides when ODB can return. That decision is the responsibility of the medical staff.
Why not Plax? He has better skills.
A 6th round pick that couldn't make it in Buffalo, Jacksonville or Minnesota. Just what we need.
If the offense has problems with the run game it probably means the D is solid. It is going to be hard for other teams to score against our D.
Schwartz 6-6 340
Jerry 6-5 340
Sullen 6-6 340
Sullen played for Auburn. If he can play at the NFL level or learn from Schwartz and Jerry we can be set at guard.
Let's see, the Giants now have a great CB crew, so the Officials are going to concentrate on penalties on CBs. I'm not surprised.
Over the last six years Eli has won 2 superbowls. The Eagles have never won a superbowl.
Eli had so many comebacks because he stunk in the first half. Last year he stunk all 4 quarters. I believe we finally have coaches who are working on his mechanics. I expect big things from him this...
I hope he plays better than he dresses.
The TEs we had for the last two years have not had to step up. They were not going to play anyway. The y got to learn how to be a good TE from Bennett and how not to play from Myers. I expect big...
Who cares? The only thing that matters to me is how Eli performs this season. I believe we will be pleasantly surprised.
I'd be worried if ESPN gave us a high ranking. They never get it right.
I thought they got an extra week of practice due to the HOF Game. Apparently they just get the game.
That is always the ultimate goal.
With an extra preseason game that shouldn't be a problem.
Bottom line is your OL is only as good as the weakest link.
The new coaching staff is looking to fix Eli's mechanics and from what I have seen so far in the OTAs it looks like it is working. Yes!!!
The coaches must have worked on his mechanics. He is throwing tight spirals. Big plus.
Yes. The tight spiral is definitely an improvement over those wobbly passes he has been throwing. It should improve his accuracy and be easier for his receivers to catch.
Nobody is the clear favorite because this is June. A lot of practice time to compete and hone skills.
The new coaching has impressed me. There is a video on Giants.com that shows Eli hitting a target at 45 yds. What was truly great about it was he threw a tight spiral.
He's probably just upset that he had to take a pay cut and the Giants still have a chunk of salary cap left.
Can he really be that much better than Holiday and Demps?
