My sincerest condolences fbomb. Losing a good friend is a very tough thing indeed. All you can do is preserve his memory and share it, and you're doing a great job so far [:)]
I'm not buying that it's one or the other. There's no reason to think that a QB can't play well early on and continue to get even better over the course of his career.
That right there shows me the NFL is far from sold on what he brings to the table.
He very well could have had multiple multi-year deals on the table.
He may have preferred a one year deal...
Just thought I'd pass this along....

I think Tryon could be a dark horse to work the slot
Personally, I think Martinek at the moment is purely injury insurance for Hynoski in an offense that may rely on a versatile fullback if the TEs cannot get up to speed.

No, I am not ready for it to be perfectly honest.
As long as defenders "Can't cover no option route all day" (Carlos Rogers, 2012) I think Cruz will have plenty of success in the league.
Thanks RF. Always good to see vets singing praises of rookies, bodes well for Wilson's career.
I think that's part of the ALL-IN mentality.* I remember last season, when it was far from clear if...

He played great in the super bowl. Have the coaches mentioned using him more? Could be a hidden weapon in the passing game.
Question though.. Why does this make JPP a monster yet when Bennett does it (who actually has a bigger frame), he is a fat, lazy jerk?
Great point.
“Currently, Couch Coughlin comes to me and says, ‘Do you think the team looks tired?’

Are they talking about me?* That could be any number of people...
kind of reminds me of reggie bush...maybe that's just me?
Thanks RF, lot of great info.
Crazy how this has worked out, when both he and Ballard went out in the super bowl did anyone expect Beckum would be the one kept, and be ready for training camp?
everybody drives drunk one time or another.......it just makes it more clear on the dangers involved.
Maybe you have, but I assure you 'everyone' hasn't.
And it's not a very good lesson if...
This isn't my number 1 but deserves mention...Cruz catching a TD over 2 defenders, one of whom is supposed to be the best cover corner in football:

Strength of schedule plays a large part in these rankings. Not all teams have to play GB, NO, Philly 2x a year.
Who was the poster that loved Ocho and would bring him up all the time. Cant remember who it wasDefinitely bandwagon.
Epic sig man!
No Ocho, need to save cap room for T.O. [;)]
