My 1st impression as well.
Lol.... just imagine if we drafted Martin and he just steamrolled Beason to begin the OTA's?
Oh, the melt down that would be...
Yes. Coaches get paid to win. If the coaching staff identified the fact that the guy couldn't run routes, or couldn't catch the ball, or whatever the reason may be, then that is probably the reason...
Jordan Cameron wasn't limited by normal circumstances. He was limited because he wanted to play basketball instead, and changing his mind cost him time. He struggled getting into USC, due to...
Either way, this dude has the physical tools and that ball hawking mentality I think the Giants look for. So I'm pretty hopeful here that this kid surprises.
This is why you don't draft a guy in the 3rd round who shows no serious production at the position, even if it's just a season.
That's the thing - wind was more about being elusive than speedy. Try to catch the wind, you can't. That's why the term described a range from powerful to elusive.
Personally, I think
That's one way to look at it. Drop percentage is a misleading stat. It's one thing to catch a screen, another to catch a 20+ yard bomb.
I think as some suggest, that the best way to see future...
I think it's because it was indeed a train wreck, so scouts stayed clear. Not just because of play on the field, there were other issues. It's hard enough for some teams scouts to go to the West...
I disagree with the notion that the Giants had ODB at #3 WR. Hopefully, they learned from the recent past in this area and had the scouting department hold a wide receivers ability to go out and...
But it tastes better. ^^
This is great news!
For me, I've learned that 40's are poor judges of speed.
I think I've begun looking at 10 yard dash times, and then comparing them against the 40's to look for acceleration vs. top end speed.
I've luckily been to a few games across the country, here are my rankings.
Overall Worst in NFL and NFC East - Chargers
Pretty sure normal Americans have to check this box on job applications that says "FELON." NFL doesn't even have that.
I think I just puked in my mouth just a little ....
I love it. World Beaters.
This team looks, on paper, better, but will that be enough to win games? We need to see it first.
One of my first memories as a fan is LT playing in that 1988 Saints game with no Simms, Carson or Banks. He had a partially torn pectoral muscle and torn ligaments in his neck, if I remember...
This is what makes Gronk so special. He can do it all. And when he catches that ball for 20, he can blow up a safety taking it to the house.
I'd love to get a Gronk type TE, but I guess we will...
There is no way Andre Williams runs like Tiki. Hilarious.
I believe he had a certain overall #1 pick on the other side getting all the attention
When he was bottled up by the mediocre Arizona defense in the Independence Bowl, I too thought of Ron Dayne.
But I hope he proves me wrong.
+1 from me as well.
I'm hoping he has a big year and stays healthy
