Practice and preseason
He also used it on Weatherford to extend contract negotiations. I think you're right though, no-one actually plays under the tag.
That one is amazing just because of the insane elevation Grimes gets.
I don't know how the heck this team makes its decisions, but something is obviously up here because this season these guys are more exceptions than rules. It's just strange.
Seeing as every other rookie has gotten play time, Washington is obviously doing (or not doing) something to garner the team's trust. I doubt that something begins and ends at special teams as well....
You mean he'd have to fail a drug test three times and incur a league suspension.
I agree. This guy is nothing at the moment, he just has to keep plugging away until he's called upon.
I hadn't thought of that, either... Big game I guess.
You're referencing QB ratings, not QBR. QBR is an entirely different metric, and is generally seen to be more accurate, since it considers the context of every throw instead of just running a box...
Colin Kaepernick gets $19 million; Jay Cutler gets $18 million. Those are some of the reasons that will contribute to Manning likely receiving something that averages in the $18 million per year...
He's signed for three years, so why would he be somewhere else if he is as good as he supposedly is? Was Cruz cut after his IR-spent rookie season?
I'd like to see a full transcript of the...
Yeah, I do think home field would be a big difference maker in that potential match-up, but I don't think the Packers are as good as their record suggests.
Haha, that always seems to be the case; the creator opts for music that they like, rather than music that actually fits with the video.
I agree. Out of the NFC teams in the playoffs, I think they're #2 behind Seattle.
Well, I'm not so sure - look at these second contracts:
Manning: Aug 5 2009 - Signed a 7 year $106.9 million extension with NYG
Rivers: Aug 24 2009 - Signed a 6 year $91,8 million contract...
It's a contest largely decided on fan votes; stats are hardly the black and white threshold for making it in. The fact that the voting period lasts from week 8 through to 16 only makes it worse. If...
There was no discount made when he won in 2011
Eli vs Kyle Orton. Is that really what's become of this board?
He's a proven quarterback - someone will pay him if the Giants don't. I don't see why he'd consider reitirement, nor do I see why the agent would plan for it to happen. If Eli retires, the agent...
and the funny thing is that both those teams are still doing everything they can to win games. Tanking is a myth in the NFL.
Yeah, no need to gain experience in a new offense whatsoever. Completely meaningless.
If you're going to devalue a quarterback's performance due to him having a good o-line and running game, then you may as well strike off all the MVP awards that Brady and Peyton have won as well.
