It amazes me how he's missed all of camp with a hamstring issue.

It's paramount to him missing half the regular season, about 8 weeks, with a strain/pull. That's just not normal.

    I can see...

This statement is not true. Most teams are right in line with us in only starting a couple of rookies each year, and having a couple more as contributors.

Very rarely do you see a team with 5-6...

Yeah, but boy, those blocks were really blown. It's one thing to get beat, but you have to at least slow the guy down.

Agreed 100%, he's essentially a 4 week PS guy they get to hold onto for the first 4 weeks. If they get some injuries at DB they can keep him, otherwise he's probably gone.

If they both struggle like they did last season and this team does another 7-9 or worse, I think we'll be looking at a whole new regime and that regime will want their own QB.

No can do, already have one guard signed to a long term deal. Hard to keep two.

I've also noticed how much trouble the WRs' have been having in getting separation. And on ESPN radio one of the commentators brought up an interesting point.

    What we've seen in pre-season,...

At this point I'm for signing him. He's has some bad history, but the threat of being completely out of the league, and all the public ridicule the guy has received, has a way of making people...

IDK if they cut JJ, but Parker makes a lot of sense as a 6th WR since he can play ST's.

Yeah, but doesn't work when the D is dropping 7-8 in coverage and pressing the WRs'.

Don't know when people are going to realize that your passing game will never work if a defense is able to get...

Agreed, I'm a supporter of Eli and believer that he will turn his play around, but it's nonsense to say he's the starter until he retires.

Washington has definitely earned himself a spot on the roster, Parker has a good shot too since he's also a ST player.

So we know we keep Cruz, RR, ODB and likely JJ. Figure they carry 6 WRs', do...

There certainly isn't a QB controversy, but Nassib is showing a lot of promise which will only be good for the team whether that means he becomes a future starter or a trade asset.

Eli was very shaky at the start of the game. Interestingly, he settled down nicely after that INT that they overturned. Started hooking up with cruz and some good things happened.

Not a matter of knowing what's in his head, it's a matter of looking at it from a business perspective.

He had bunches of snaps over his three years, he played in like 12 games in 2012.

What's more impressive? Jernigan having 3 goods games at the end of the season, two against the worst passing...

If Nassib shows enough that other teams would be willing to sign him as a F/A, the Giants would probably trade him to get something back before he hits the market.

But I will say this, in just looking at his route running, he's been as aweful as he's generally been outside of the 3 games...

This doesn't really help your point. CAR wanted to lock him up for multiple years at 4.5mil/per, Nicks is playing with an eye for a 10mil/year contract. That's why he took the 1 year deal w/IND, so...
