MM is gone......Osi will stay for less money...and this drafts TEs are NOT 1st round worthy. Oh and also BJ said he would take pay cut to stay blue. Now where do we go from here? What do we REALLY need? We need oline, that is agreed. We need TE, we have 2 that are gong to be on PUP for the start of next season. We also could use a secondary player, either CB or S. RB we could use, but this year's draft has crap for them. We could go LB, but we have a bunch of rookies already at the position. I personally feel we should grab a WR early to mid rounds......we need that dynamic WR trio to keep our passing game hot.

Not exactly taking a pay cut but restructuring his deal in which it minimizes his cap hit.

They take away guaranteed money but put in easily reachable incentives

A lot of people don't realize you're committing financial suicide with constant restructures. Most of that money isn't going away, but rather moved into future years as guaranteed cash where players like Nicks, Cruz, Tuck and JPP are set to hit the market.

Some players need to be cut, ones who are still more than serviceable on this team.

The fact is that players want to play for a winning franchise and the GMEN have proven they are winners.</P>


This should indeed make it a little easier to get good players to play for less money, the Pats have been doing it for years.</P>


This really works with FA's nearing the end of their run with the hope of getting that SB Ring before it's too late.</P>


Am seeing now that many players are talking pay cuts, not that it's enough to keep Mario but the GMEN will be ok when September comes rolling in.</P>
